Does this parade end? Hillary Clinton and later Nancy Pelosi went to China and slobbered all over our Asian credit line, but apparently Barack Obama feels it wasn’t enough. Now Timmy the tax cheat Geithner has lent his own subservient style to the line of embarrassment.
Timmy went to China for a few days to reassure the communist regime that their investments were safe. Those investments are somewhere around 3/4 of a trillion dollars. That’s a huge chunk out of America’s ass, and the Chinese laid down the law to Geithner just like they did when Hank Paulsen was there.
Geithner gushed with accolades over the booming (in comparison with the U.S.) Chinese econony, even suggesting that China play a larger role in determining world economic policy.
He struck a very different tone earlier this year, accusing China of currency manipulation that would make their imports cheaper. Fightin’ words. Of course Barack Obama made the same case during the campaign, and is currently apologizing for that outburst apparently.
So what does this all mean for the average American? It means continued borrowing, continued job oursourcing, continued importing of poisonous, dangerous Chinese manufactured products, and a relinquishing of U.S. autonomy to a communist regime that would like nothing more than to see a weakened, subservient United States.
Timmy had to pucker up and give China a big kiss, we may need more of their money once the health-care bill passes. Did you ever think that we would see a day where the American president had to kiss China’s ass because their free market economy was better than ours?
