Are we seeing a common thread here? It wasn’t that long ago that Hillary Clinton was in China begging for money. On that trip she ignored the human rights abuses of the communist regime, a complete turnaround from her alleged position before she went.
Now we have water board advocate Nancy Pelosi, going to China to escape the heat of her being exposed as a low-life liar regarding the water boarding issue. Like Clinton, Pelosi stridently advocated human rights in China, and made no secret of her displeasure with the Chinese government’s numerous crackdowns on democracy.
That was until this trip. Human rights are off the table now that she’s face to face with the United States’ personal line of credit. After the U.S. government basically gave away the country, what could she say? We’re in debt up to our eyeballs with China. Well, she could talk about going green. The whole movement is a scam, so maybe China wasn’t such a bad place to go to talk about that kind of thing. The only reference she made to human rights was that the environment is a human rights issue. Nice work in Nan. Like Clinton, she ignored the demonstrators pleading with her to address human rights issues. She can’t. Do you understand, she can’t.
If Barack Obama is going to continue to send skirts over to China to genuflect in the name of the United States, he could do better than sending over a face full of plastic and stitches.
