It appears as though many people have taken a good look at what “change” is going to look like, and they aren’t happy with what they see. At least up until recently, the United States has been the benchmark of how it’s done, and the rest of the world looked on in envy. What they see now is an ugly shift to the left, and to coin an old adage, if the United States goes, so goes the rest of the world.
There are those that won’t let the U.S. “go” that quietly though. In New York, some Democrats jumped ship, giving Republicans control of the legislature in that state. And now the house cleaning begins. Committees, rules, the whole lefty house is getting a makeover. Some NY Dems are complaining that the move by the renegade Democrats was illegal. That’s not what the voters voted for they argue. Go tell it to Arlen specter. My guess is you’ll see more of this next year.
But the “revolt” doesn’t stop there. Liberals have been hammered in the European parliament elections, sending a strong message to the union that they don’t want to end up as China’s lap dog-like some countries. Britain’s Labour Party was hit particularly hard, not only being pummeled in the in the paliamentary elections, but in local races as well. Calls for lame duck PM Gordon Brown to step down are coming from his own party. They’re trying to put on a good face, but when members of your cabinet quit and invite you to come along, usually the party’s over.
You have to give credit where credit is due, because it looks like the Obama administration knew they might run into this problem, and have implemented contingency plans. We already know that the state of Georgia is not allowed to verify who’s voting. That’s right, denied by the Department of Justice. ACORN will be doing the census-as only they know how. Yes, a known criminal organization with ties to Obama himself. Go figure. That’ll put some votes in the bank.
Europe (and some ballsy Dems in New York) have spoken, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of tea party protesters, and who knows how many like minded folks that just couldn’t make it to the rallies. Does this embolden any Republicans? How about independents? It should, because the support is there for the taking. Legislative mutinies, tea parties, Euro-revolt…I’m not sure, but way off in the distance I think I see a spark, a very dim light…

I agree, the American people has started seeing that Obama is no good for this great Nation. He is so far left that he has even left the liberal democrats behind.
The tide could be turning. If we can just limit the damage until 2010 maybe we will have a chance to correct this mess the way the rest of the world appears to be doing.
Well, angry voters tend to show up to the polls in bigger numbers. If we can keep ACORN from going overboard on their phony voter registrations, we have a chance.
