Barney Frank Looks To Steal TARP Money

Fiddling while Fannie Mae burned wasn’t enough for this kleptomaniac. Now he wants to steal TARP money he isn’t legally entitled to do.

Some companies have paid back the TARP money. How they managed that is another post. Most have not though. But of those who have, there was a little profit. These companies handed over some preferred stock to the feds that paid dividends. That’s the profit. As the law was written at the time TARP profits were to be deposited into the general fund to pay down the debt.

Enter Barney Frank, the buffoon that had his fat little fingers all over the mortgage meltdown. He wants that money for some pet projects of his. He’s not entitled to the money. It’s straight out theft. Well, how can he do that? You say. He’s just going to make a new law to invalidate the old one. Remember, there is currently only one party in Washington. The Republicans have no vote, and can’t stop any kind of legislation.

Barney probably has a safe seat, so complaining to him would be a waste of time, but your representatives will be voting on this theft. It’s our money; let them know the consequences of stealing it. If Frank wants money for his projects, let him start up another gay prostitution ring out of his apartment.
