New Science Czar Advocated Forced Sterilization

The thought of it is numbing, abhorrent, a page straight out of the Adolf Hitler/Margaret Sanger playbook. What kind of monster would advocate such a policy? Barack Obama’s new science czar.

That’s right, newly annointed science czar John Holdren co-authored a book back in the 70’s that sounded the overpopulation alarm bell-not in developing countries, where explosive birth rates among severly impoverished populations is crippling the economies of those societies, but in the United States, where Holdren felt that overpopulation was so out of control that draconian measure were in order.

Some of those measures included forced sterilization, forced abortions, a cut off point for births, and monitoring the fertility of undesirables, which included those that he deemed to have had too many children. Yes, more than two, and you were popping them out beyond reasonable limits.

Well, we now know that Holdren’s tales of dread never panned out in the United States. In fact, amnesty advocates champion the fact that America doesn’t have enough people to keep the economy going. Barack Obama wants amnesty, that would flood the United States with “undesirables”. Certainly the birth rates of Mexico exceed 2.0 children. That’s why this seems to be such a curious choice for Obama. Then again, there are many curious choices he’s made. This is just one more.
