Australia fears the burgeoning military might of China, but they, like the United States, continue to feed the beast. Confidence in U.S. military support is starting to wane, and they’re taking action to shore up the military gap by what they see as a weakening superpower.
They’re beefing up their military capabilities down under, and for good reason. China has become the top trading partner for Australia, and along with the United States and other countries are rapidly funding the communist regime’s military build up. The lure of cheap goods is too good to pass up though, so Australia is making sure it can defend itself just in case they’ve made an error in judgment. The logic behind that is a another discussion entirely, but this is the reality right now.
The relatively small nation has been a staunch ally of the United States for decades, but with the emergence of China as a power that has had its wealth spoon fed to them by the West, the game of globalization has become high stakes. They remain an ally of course, but with the bankrupting of America underway, and the almost unbelievable scaling back of the military in a time when threats around the world are focused on the United States, the Aussies have been prompted to look out for themselves.
Talk has been bantered about as to whether Barack Obama is intentionally trying to destroy the United States. A socialist coat won’t fit a capitalist body, and the current system will have to be scrapped before the messiah can re-create in his own image. Could that be the case? The Aussies aren’t waiting to find out.
