I guess being on the same side of an issue as Al Sharpton was more than even the White House could absorb, so Barack Obama went into convoluted PR mode. He’s backing away-but not admitting he said anything wrong philosophically when he squirted lighter fluid on this concocted racial issue.
Even though Obama said he was biased, even though he said he didn’t have all the facts, he still couldn’t keep what was in his heart under wraps. When he said that the Cambridge Police Department acted stupidly, he was referring of course to Sergeant James Crowley, the officer that arrested Obama’s good buddy, Henry Gates. Now he wishes that he had chosen his words more wisely. He’s not apologizing; he’s not saying he was mistaken or flat out wrong, he’s just saying that he wished his race baiting comment wasn’t so blatant. And I say race baiting in the context of Gates’ reaction to the incident. Even Obama won’t deny he fanned this thing. Had Gates been arrested by anyone other than whitey, this wouldn’t even be news.
Now he’s going to try and make amends with the decorated officer who made an arrest, that by all accounts (except for Gates’ and Obama’s), was by the book. We already know what you think BHO. We know who you’ve surrounded yourself with during your life. In fact, Gates is a character in and of himself. More on him in another post.
Post racial huh? Hardly. More on that later as well.

Obama’s advisors said that he was personally outraged about the arrest. Obama personally outraged that a black man was arrested sounds racist to me.
