The crooks at ACORN may finally be getting their due, but it’s not the kind of attention they were banking on.
Crooked as they come. That pretty much sums up a report released by the Committee on Oversight & Government Reform, with ranking member Darrell Issa (R) leading the charge. The report covers it all: tax evasion, obstruction of justice embezzlement, voter fraud and other crimes all committed under the umbrella of organizations that link back to the mother pustule.
There are so many peripheral organizations that link to ACORN that is it very difficult to pin down the source of the criminal activity. Issa and the boys have taken on the challenge though. Good for them. I thought Issa was a little squirrelly during the amnesty run a few years back, but he has redeemed himself here. In direct contradiction to John Conyers declaring first that there was nothing to investigate, and later declaring that the “powers that be” shut him down, this committee has essentially stuck it to the powers that be and released this 88 page report.
Now who would those powers be? Who would benefit from ACORN type shenanigans? Well, we know Obama benefited directly. Now we find in the report that Rod Blagojevich was a beneficiary as well. Conyers is an idiot. He should concentrate on keeping his crook wife out of prison and let Issa expose this criminal empire. With operations in 43 states, surely there must be more.
Of course, Obama, Pelosi, and the rest of the fraudsters trolling Washington will do everything in their power to try and quash this thing before it goes viral. If this explodes before the census…Well, another defeat for Obama. I suggest pounding your elected representatives and urge them to push for further investigation. We twisted arms during the amnesty debate, we did it again during the socialized medicine push, and we can do it now. Clearly we have to keep an eye on our employees here. Kudos to Darrell Issa for scoring one for the people. Don’t let him twist in the wind. This is huge.
This is great news, maybe ACORN will finally be held accountable. I am sure the Dems will try to hide this but just the thought of this all breaking loose before the census is music to my ears!

The ACORN 8 site talks as if ACORN merely needs reform and oversight. It needs to be dismantled completely. You cut out a cancer, not dress it up. It almost looks like a deceptive scam ACORN is pulling. You think you’re supporting a new day, but actually it’s ACORN themselves that you’re supporting. They toss a few saps under the bus and move on.
Look, I hope these disgruntled ex-employees tear ACORN apart. At the same time they did work for ACORN in the past and clearly were aware of the level of corruption there…but continued to work for ACORN anyway. I’m glad they’re blowing the whistle on their old pals, but at the same time, they aren’t to be trusted.
