Shoe Bomber Plays Obama Like A Violin

Is Obama naive, or just coming to the aid of a Muslim brother? You could make a rock-solid case for both.

Richard Reid, the notorious shoe bomber is currently serving his lenghthy sentence at Colorado’s supermax prison. Reid had been placed under Special Administrative Measures, meaning that contact with other inmates and correspondence to the wrong people could lead to death or serious bodily injury to others. No problem there, and he’s been under the SAM’s since they threw his ass in the clink in 2001. Reid sued the government to get out from under these measures. He wanted to pray with his fellow Muslim buddies at supermax. Who might those buddies be? How about Ramzi Yousef and his three co-conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui; “Millennium bomber” Ahmed Ressam; “Dirty bomber” Jose Padilla; Wadih el-Hage, Osama Bin Laden’s personal secretary, convicted in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombing that killed 247 people. I know, you have to be kidding. It’s unclear why those individuals don’t have their own restrictions. Never the less, no way Reid gets in the mosque with these creeps.

The Obama justice department has other ideas. They’re removing Reid from the SAM’s restrictions, and that will allow him to congregate with his fellow terrorists. Yes, the same justice department that decided it was okay for club-wielding thugs to hang out at polling places and hurl threats and racial epithets at voters has decided that poor shoe bomber Reid should have a little more freedom.

Is it any wonder Gitmo detainees would love to get locked up on American soil? More freedom, more civil rights, and more of a chance to talk jihad with their fellow Muslim terrorists. It only took a hunger strike to slap Obama into submission in this case. Everyone knows about criminial enterprises continuing their operations behind bars, and that was the whole point of the SAM’s. Obama’s attempted appeasement of his Muslim brothers is just endangering America. What are the odds that one of these terrorists eventually navigates the justice system successfully and ends up free? Shoe bomber Reid has already taken a step in that direction.
