Well, it looks like hope and change is more like old school thuggery. If you ever wondered what Chicago style politics was, it’s gone national.
As Americans assert their first amendment rights by attending town hall meetings and railing against the socialist health care nightmare, the Obama regime has decided to strike back. If you’re one of the patriotic Americans exercising your 1st amendment rights at town hall meetings, beware: SEIU union thugs are out in force to silence you.
Now why would union goons be so involved in this debate? The SEIU bragged that they spent over $60 million to get Obama elected. And they were rewarded handsomely for their efforts. With choice appointments, and a seat at the White House policy table, the SEIU is more a part of the current government than you should be comfortable with. It’s not a free ride though, and when things get tough (and it’s getting tough for Obama these days), the thugs get going.
In an effort to portray ordinary American citizens as violent mobs, the SEIU is sending their minions to these town hall meetings to disrupt and create a hostile atmosphere, even resorting to classic union violence to silence opposition to Barry’s health care bill. Of course the state run media is reporting it as the citizens that are out of control, when clearly the unions are instigating the aggression. There was no violence until the union showed up. This is politics Chicago style. Intimidate, coerce, and if that doesn’t work, start cracking skulls. And that’s exactly what they’re resorting to.
The mistake that the administration is making is that only the dolts will fall for the lies. They were the problem in the first place. The informed voter is being alienated even more than they already are. The Democrats see a disaster coming in 2010, and a huge embarrassment in 2012 when Obama ends up being a one-term failure. ACORN has a lot of work to do if they want these cretins to remain in power. It may be a losing cause. They’re going down swinging though, union style.

It’s funny we hear Republicans say that they do not want “faceless bureaucrats” making medical decisions but they have no problem with “private sector” “faceless bureaucrats” daily declining medical coverage and financially ruining good hard working people. And who says that the “private sector” is always right, do we forget failures like Long-Term Capital, WorldCom, Global Crossing, Enron, Tyco, AIG and Lehman Brothers. Of course the federal government will destroy heathcare by getting involved, Oh but wait, Medicare and Medicaid and our military men and women and the Senate and Congress get the best heathcare in the world, and oh, that’s right, its run by our federal government. I can understand why some may think that the federal government will fail, if you look at the past eight years as a current history, with failures like the financial meltdown and Katrina but the facts is they can and if we support them they will succeed.
How does shouting down to stop the conversation of the healthcare debate at town hall meetings, endears them to anyone. Especially when the organizations that are telling them where to go and what to do and say are Republicans political operatives, not real grassroots. How does shouting someone down or chasing them out like a lynch mob advanced the debate, it does not. So I think the American people will see through all of this and know, like the teabagger, the birthers, these lynch mobs types are just the same, people who have to resort to these tactics because they have no leadership to articulate what they real want. It’s easy to pickup a bus load of people who hate, and that’s all I been seeing, they hate and can’t debate. Too bad.
Wow, so much misinformation. Where do I start.
failures like Long-Term Capital, WorldCom, Global Crossing, Enron, Tyco, AIG and Lehman Brothers…government FAILED to enforce existing laws. Some of these companies were subsequently bailed out. Good show.
The military has the best healthcare? Can you say Walter Reed medical center?
Financial meltdown? We have Dems on video saying that not only was Freddie and Fannie just fine, buy you were a racist for even questioning their antics.
Lynch mob? There was no violence until the Dems sent in the unions.
With the failed stimulus bill, cap and trade, backtracking on lobbyists, the flood of tax cheats in the administration, the bailouts the majority of Americans did not want, the unprecedented 45 unaccountable “czars” in place, the domestic spying program that makes Bush look like a choir boy…all done with not so much as a wink at the American people. I think the country has been quite patient. Now they’re speaking up. Get used to democracy.
Paul: “Medicare and Medicaid and our military men and women and the Senate and Congress get the best heathcare in the world, and oh, that’s right, its run by our federal government.”
First off Medicare and Medicaid are both terriable excuses for a good health care insurance. VA isn’t the best health care as you hear all the time from our great Military men and women, long waits to get treatments and much more is wrong with the VA. Now for the Senate and Congress health insurance…wrong paul its not ran by the Government…I have the same insurance that they do and its called Blue Cross Blue Shield, some of the Senate and Congress and or federal Civil Service has a choice of what insurance companies they want, its called open season! The Private insurance runs the Senate and Congress insurance not the government. In other words the government acts like a business providing health insurance for its workers thu a private company of the workers choice! Paul you need to get your facts together before making such a comment!
