MSNBC Race Baiting In Overdrive

Well, it looks like MSNBC is taking a new tack by using an old, but unfortunately effective tactic of defending the undefendable. They’re playing the race card.

Chris Matthews played it the other night by stating his belief that protesters were bringing guns to rallys because they were unhappy with a black president (who is half white, Chrissy). It looks as if the lefty network has taken it a step too far this time. They’ve ginned up a video where the camera focuses in on a man with what must be a semi-automatic weapon (automatic ones are illegal guys), and a hand gun strapped to his waist. The MSNBC hacks start into their racist rant as the camera, which is just showing the gun, not the man, cuts away to a random white man in the crowd.

It turns out that the white guy they cut away to was not the guy with the guns. The man with the guns was black, but MSNBC failed to mention this, and instead had three stooges rail against whitey for bringing guns to these rallys (My apologies to all Stooges fans). There was even the inevitable prediction that one of these nuts was eventually going to hurt Obama. Being President of the United States makes him a target. Ask Ronald Reagan. These types of reports clearly aren’t aimed at the reasonably well informed. Race baiting at its most disgusting, and to the uninformed, to those that didn’t realize how MSNBC put this clip together, a race baiting instigator.

MSNBC finally responded after howls of protests from those that actually were on to the stunt they pulled. The “report”, by some hack named Contessa Brewer drew a defensive response from an MSNBC spokeshole: “Contessa was speaking generally and not about that specific person with the automatic weapon.”

Oh really? Well, the damage is done. And for those that still watch MSNBC, this is just fuel they can use to act based on false information. Let’s not forget that Barack Obama could not have won without the white vote. As I’ve said before, he won Iowa. If MSNBC ever had any legitimacy, it’s gone now. That’s not to say that they can’t whip up the viewers they have left. If somebody wants to believe something, and you have their source of news telling them it’s a fact…
