There’s no point in tearing apart Obama’s speech tonight. Everyone knew what was coming: the same garbage being spewed all summer. The really galling thing was Obama thinking he could come out and read a teleprompter for 45 minutes and change minds.
There was one highlight though, and it sums up Barack Obama in a nutshell. Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) called Obama the liar that he is, and the nation heard it all. Priceless video.
That was great! I didn’t bother to listen last night because we have already heard it time after time but that would have made it worthwhile. The whole nation heard the president called a liar on television it is good to see that congress may not just fall in line with the president on this issue.
I’ve talked about this before. I was waiting for a Republican with the nads to stand up to Obama. Hopefully he set a precedent.
