It certainly will be a new look if the Muslim whack job that is suing them gets her way. Of course this lawsuit has nothing to do with discrimination and everything to do with imposition.
If you ever have even walked by an Abercrombie & Fitch store at the mall, it’s quite obvious the type of clothing they sell and they type of demographic they’re targeting. A 17-year-old Hijab wearing Muslim girl trampled over the Abercrombie business model and applied for a position at a company that on it’s face is an affront to Islam (score one for Abercrombie). Well, she was allegedly denied employment based on the fact that she wore the religiously mandated hijab, and apparently was not willing to remove it in order to work for A & F.
That prompted her to run to CAIR and start the lawsuit ball rolling. The Civil Rights Act Of 1964 Title VII section specifically states that “It is unlawful for employers to treat applicants or workers differently based on their religious beliefs or practices in any aspect of employment, including recruitment, hiring and job assignments,” . How are they treating her differently? If a non-Muslim walked in with a scarf, they wouldn’t have been hired either. She was treated no differently. What her problem is (other than the obvious), is that Abercrombie & Fitch would not make a special allowance for her religious beliefs. Why don’t you get off that prayer rug and apply somewhere else honey? If I sued every place that didn’t hire me, I’d be a rich man. Or would I? No, the lawsuits would have been as frivolous as this one. They don’t make special allowances for anyone else, so why should they make it for her?
Why don’t you ask CAIR? This anti-American, anti-Semitic supremacist group is looking to impose Islam upon the United States, and strong arming, or even bankrupting companies is an effective tactic. Will Abercrombie fold? Will they bow to the scourge of Islam? They folded a few years back whey they were accused of a marketing strategy that limited the hiring of minorities. That’s right, since they didn’t jack up minorities by selling overpriced junk from Bangladesh to them Abercrombie & Fitch ended up settling a suit with the EEOC for $50 million. That’s 8 zeros folks. You minorities out there should be angry that this company was sued because they refused to kick you in the nuts and decided to go after whitey instead. Besides, if you weigh over 130 pounds, they don’t have any clothes for you anyway. Hey, maybe fat people can sue Abercrombie as well? How far down the slippery slope will we go? For CAIR, the slope stops at Mecca.
