Newsweek Plays The Race Card

It looks like a pattern now, an active plan to brand any kind of opposition to Barack Obama as racist. How ironic that the accusers are the ones with the race issues.

The latest steaming pile of dung to come out of the race card attack plan comes from the rag that has officially become a joke, much like the New York Times. Newsweek Magazine came out with their latest issue, and after slapping America across the face with the cover, gave us all a collective kick in the sack with the accompanying article (The link is a reference; I’ll be damned if I actually link to that article).

Is Your Baby A Racist? is emblazoned across the cover, with a photo of an “innocent” infant underneath. Hard to imagine how they thought they could sell magazines that way, but if you have the misfortune of actually looking inside, it gets worse. Raina Kelley, a hack writer of marginal talent for Newsweek picked up the torch lit by Jimmy Carter and Nancy Pelosi and displayed her own brand of race baiting for the world to see. She spews the same Carter garbage that “people” (code: whitey) can’t stand to see a black man in the White House. She takes her pent up racism even further though. Hey you tea partier? You’re not protesting Obama’s policies, no you’re griping over the fact that this country’s most powerful positions are no longer just for white men. Yes, there it is. Whitey again. Always whitey.

Kelley can’t shut her mouth there and later proves what a true racist she is. What is racism at its core? Superiority over another race, right? Black skin has meant something very specific in this country for hundreds of years. It has meant “less than,” “not as good as,” “separate than,” and even “equal to.” It has never meant “better than” unless you were talking about dancing, singing, or basketball. She said it. Blacks are somehow superior in those areas, and now Obama himself represents superior and that is what really gets whitey.

She blathers on about how there is no open discussion about race and that hurts the goal of equality. Well, I have to agree with the hag there; you would never catch a white person spewing the kind of bile coming from this monster and have them get away with it. If this same article was written by a white about blacks-just reverse black with white in the article, the sheets and hoods would be out, Sharpton would be slicking back his conk, and there very well could be violence in the streets. At the very least Newsweek would suffer far worse consequences than they will now. Don’t fall for this. These people are the racists, these people are the ethno-centrists, these are the people full of hate. Understand that their argument is on a false premise. Don’t back down, because that is the plan. They are depending on you to shy away when being called a racist. Stand tall and their argument will fall apart. When they are challenged and actually have to back up their argument, they will either fade away, or be made to look like the racist fools that they are. Lets help them get to that place.
