Jesse Jackson is the latest jackass to blame George Bush for Obama’s disastrous Olympic debacle. Just days after Chicago thug Roland Burris blamed Bush for Obama’s failure, Jackson has now echoed his sentiments, and hopefully, everybody is listening.
Citing Bush’s refusal to sign the Kyoto treaty, and the war in Iraq, Jackson put forward essentially those two things as the reason Obama failed. Not Obama flying in at the last minute and trying to dazzle the IOC as if they were teenage girls at a rock concert, not Michelle’s bullshit “memories” of sitting on daddy’s knee and watching Carl Lewis-which would have made her around 20 at the time, not Oprah handing out her sow pics as if she could make some kind of difference, not the blathering I/me filled speech that Obama spewed at the committee in such an insulting way, not the unchecked violence consuming the streets of Chicago, no, it was none of those things. It was Bush.
