Barry Soetoro has taken his place among the goons, crooks, liars, racists and murderers in the Pantheon of hypocrisy known as the Nobel Peace Prize. If you happen to be unfortunate enough to have this albatross slung over your neck, try and give it back before anyone notices.
Joining the likes of Al Gore, whose global warming myths have made him a rich man, Kofi Annan, one of the most corrupt U.N. Secretary General’s to ever soil the floors of that dubious organization, Jimmy Carter, an absolutely disastrous president, whose anti-semitism and inflammatory statements directed at whitey should be grounds for lawsuits, not prizes, Wangari Maathai, who espouses the Jeremiah Wright line that HIV was invented by whitey to wipe out blacks (always whitey), and the list goes on. Does Obama belong with this group of loons? He sure does. Funny, The Norwegian Nobel Committee sees it through a different lens. Lucky for Barry no one from the IOC was on that panel.
In their announcement, the committee mentions Obama’s extrordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. Iran has given him the finger. North Korea has given him the finger. China has given him something significantly bigger than a finger. His Hamas brothers have given him the finger, even publicly questioning him winning this award. He has given Israel the finger with the most anti-Semitic agenda of any president. Yes, Israel too has questioned the awarding of this prize. He has surrendered to Islam, specifically surrendered to the Taliban, saying months ago that the effort was futile (yes, we’re still there though), surrendered to Russia, surrendered to China, surrendered to Mexico, and he’s just getting warmed up.
They mention Obama’s vision of a world without nuclear weapons. This is the guy who can’t get Kim Jung Il to the table, who has actually stated that Iran has a right to pursue nuclear technology, and was hoodwinked by Putin in a missile shield debacle that will no longer be based in Europe. Sure the Ruskies will reciprocate, sure they will. So that’s worth an award: get rid of your own deterrents while at the same time standing around like a deer in the headlights while the rest of the world fills the void. Nice.
Then they laud him for his attempts to disembowel the United States by turning over sovereignty to the United Nations. The U.N. is so corrupt, so anti-Semitic, so pro Islam, so socialist that they should be disbanded. The panel thought being cell mates with the U.N. was a great plan though (that should sum it up, but let’s keep going).
There was a brief mention of the global warming charade as well. That kind of agenda should be grounds for impeachment, not awards. Folks, the earth has cooled since Al Gore wrote An Inconvenient Truth. Yes, cooled. Not everyone is falling for the scam, just those that have a desire to destroy themselves economically.
Here’s the kicker: Acknowleging that Obama is not acting in the interests of the United States, they laud him for pursuing a socialist agenda.
His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world’s population.
Lead the world? Attitudes shared by the majority? He’s allegedly the President of the United States (for now). His job is not to lead the world. His job is to show the rest of the world how its done. Obama is pursuing an agenda that is just the opposite of what made the United States great. Well, remember that Obama did say that no nation should be over another. If they suck, then by God, you’re going to suck too.
Keep in mind that Obama was nominated for the prize less than 2 weeks after he was installed as president. That is correct. He hadn’t actually done anything (besides possibly violating the Constitution), but he was nominated based on what he had accomplished up to that point. And he wins??? I say give him the prize. He so tarnished now that this bit of slime won’t make much of a difference.

The Nobel Peace Prize is nothing but a joke, you summarized it all up perfectly. This committee has an agenda and this is just more proof of that. This has to be the first time that a person won the award based on what they hope he will do rather than what he has done. He envisions a world without nuclear weapons, so do most people, how does that qualify him for this prize? He hasn’t even begun to realize that goal and in fact has done just the opposite with regards to Iran and North Korea. People need to stop listening to his words and start judging his actions. The two do not match up very well.
Plenty of people are questioning this. If this was an attempt to influence American policy it looks like it failed.
You summed it up very well. When I read the part of the reasons he was given the award that had to do with the values and attitudes of the rest of the world, I had exactly the same reaction as you. The last time I checked, the White House was still in Washington, D.C. He is supposed to be President of the United States, not of the world.
