No surprise, but infuriating none the less. With the majority of Americans against this assault on health care, the Democrats voted for it anyway.
Hormone compromised hag Nancy Pelosi smugly announced passage of the 1,990 page monstrosity that is designed to destroy health care as we know it in the United States. The vote was purely along party lines, save for one Scozzavaian like communist RINO from Louisiana who voted for it. They must have had electronic voting machines down there. I bet it won’t help him next year though. Just a bet, not a guarantee.
We know many of the details of this government takeover, no need to cover all the details. It was enough to know that Nancy Pelosi will have you thrown in jail if you don’t pony up and get with the plan. That was her answer to the Americans who opposed this bill. Never mind that 85% of Americans are happy with their insurance. Never mind that this monstrosity will cost $1.2 trillion-by government estimates. Never mind that we don’t have $1.2 trillion-we don’t have any money at all. We’re borrowing. We have no money. Never mind that taxes will rise because-we have no money. Never mind that grandma will have her Medicare benefits slashed to help pay for this. Never mind that illegal aliens will easily be able to defraud this program, as they are able to defraud all other government programs. Never mind all that, it passed anyway.
2010 is around the corner, and it seems very strange that so many Democrats think their seats are safe. They either know something we don’t, or they come from very safe districts, such as Nancy Pelosi’s in San Francisco.
A massive stimulus plan failure, a massive cap and trade bill, and now a massive 1,990 page “health care” bill. Do you think Congress wrote these complicated, detailed bills at the speed of light? These things were already written. Barack Obama is a stooge. Congress is full of stooges, pushing somebody else’s agenda. These clowns need to be replaced, and replaced by people who are prepared to deal with whatever forces are pushing this agenda. I’ve talked about the coalitions that are behind some of this, and I think by any means necessary is not out of the question for these people. They’ve declared war on the United states, and the world for that matter, and sitting on the sidelines is not an option. You can’t. They will not allow it. They are looking to take every freedom you have and control every aspect of your life. If you’re okay with that, then just sit there and do nothing.
While it is not surprising, it is still disappointing. I held out hope to the bitter end that something would stop this bill. I am afraid that 2010 is just too far away.
Maybe they’re conceding that they will lose seats next year so they’re going to ram as much through as possible while they can.
