I just had a thought. If Hoffman does win, does that mean Owen’s vote is null and void because he wasn’t really a Congressman?

I hope more Hoffmans step up by 2010 because I don’t see a lot of Republican leadership I can get behind.

I hadn’t heard about this but it does show us what appears to be a big difference between Democrats and Republicans. If the situation was reversed there is no wat that the Democrats would have allowed Hoffman to be seated. There would have been legal battles until they prevailed. We saw this in with Franken and Coleman, Democrats faught until they won. I wish Republicans were as tenacious as Democrats sometimes.
