For all you hopey-changey bots that want to back Barack Obama in his amnesty bid, you should understand that those “good folks that just want to work” will be bringing with them a culture that is ingrained with racism.
Remember a few years back when Mexico came up with postage stamps commemorating one of that country’s comic book characters Memín Pinguín? At the time there was an uproar in United States regarding the stereotypical depiction of blacks in the character. Take a look at that picture. I thought it was a monkey too, but it isn’t, it is supposed to be a little black boy. The Mexican president at the time, open borders advocate Vicente Fox, defended the release of stamps, citing Memin Pinguin as a beloved character in Mexican culture. Finally, after howls of outrage from the North, and even a visit from ethno-hustlers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, Fox had the stamps removed from circulation. He only did it under pressure though. To this day, Fox sees nothing wrong with the depiction.
Of course not. That’s how he was raised. He can’t see anything wrong with the depiction, because for him, there is nothing wrong. Remember his comment, Mexicans will do the work not even blacks will do.” Not even those blacks. That raised some eyebrows here as well, but not in Mexico. Black people are what they are to him, and apparently, to many in Mexican culture. Are what they are? And what would that be, you say?
Fast forward to today, where a popular Mexican television show, Cero En Conducta currently runs on one of the Spanish language stations that is broadcast here in the United States. The set is supposed to be an elementary school, although all the actors are adults. A recent episode on a new student joining the class showed just how ingrained racism is in that culture. Check the link if you want to see this. I didn’t watch the entire thing. I didn’t have to. A scene starts off with a guy dragging the black “kid” into the class. He exclaims “I found Jorge playing in the mud,” or something to that effect. When the teacher, who continually beats students with a stick throughout the program says that the kid isn’t Jorge, the guys tells her that he thought is was, and that he had just been covered in black roofing tar. Enter the canned laughter. The scene goes on, and the teacher mentions that he is from Africa. Monkey jokes, hurling of bananas, and other racist activity draw howls of canned laughter. It went on and on. Again, I didn’t need to see it all.
If you looked at the video, tell me what would happen if a show like that were broadcast in English. There would be riots in the streets-blood in the streets. Even on an academic level, what self-respecting black man or woman would take anything like that? Yet in Spanish, there has been no fallout whatsoever. Has no one seen this? Where is Jackson? Sharpton? Wright? Obama even? While the Hispanic caucus claws at Obama and demands amnesty, he should realize what this group thinks of him as a man, as a human being. Look at that Memin Pinguin again. That’s what they think. A stupid, lower form of life stooge that will give away the country to racist reconquistas. I’m not saying that there aren’t good people in Mexico. Not at all. What I’m saying is that this is a cultural issue, and after the struggles the United States has had over the years with racism and civil rights, it would be a shame at the very least to to erase so much blood, sweat, and tears with a swipe of the pen. It would be a lot more than a shame to those that were in the trenches turning this country in the right direction. Is this how Barack Obama will return the favor to 98% of the black voters casting for him? Looks that way.

I daresay that a poll conducted in Mexico would easily back Fox or the new guy.
