Doug Hoffman Re-concedes

Doug Hoffman is no political hack, and that was part of his appeal, but he has angered some, and disappointed others with this decision.

Despite evidence of missed votes and voter machine malfunctions and security breaches, Doug Hoffman has re-conceced New York’s 23rd District election. A recount may have proven him to be the winner, but instead the lying cheat Bill Owens, who broke four campaign promises as soon as he walked in the door, will remain in Congress for now. A late entry into the race, Hoffman made some mistakes, and up against a GOP/Democratic coalition, was knocked out. In his concession, he cited a costly and disruptive recount would not be in the best interests of NY23. It seems to me that it would be in the interest of the voters. He might actually be the winner. If the election night stories are as bad as they were reported to be, it would be in the interest of Hoffman’s, and the voters of NY23 to have a recount. He’s basically letting fraud go unpunished. Hoffman has other plans though.

Looking forward to 2010, Doug Hoffman will be able to enter the campaign with a full magazine, unlike this election where he entered late and had to contend with both Democrats and Republicans. This time, he expects to be well funded, and hopefully he will be able to tap those that have experience in running campaigns. RINO’s aside, there are those within the Republican party that support Hoffman, such as presidential candidate Fred Thompson. Maybe Fred could recommend some guys to help out Doug.

It seems to me, that with Dede Scozzafava out of the picture, and Bill OWens exposed as for the scumbag that he is, that 2010 is Doug Hoffman’s for the taking. He just needs a few pointers in running a campaign. Look what he did just walking in off the street. And that is literally what he did. Imagine if he had some pros backing him up. Until then though, Owens will remain a Pelosi rubber stamp, a fraud whose days are numbered.
