Looks like we could take a cue from the Honduran people. Despite tremendous pressure from the Obama regime, Honduras hung tough and gave the world a lesson in democracy.
Honduras just had a their presidential election, as promised by interim president Roberto Micheletti months ago. Conservative candidate Porfirio “Pepe” Lobo pounded the opposition, much to the chagrin of would-be despot Manuel Zelaya. Apparently, Barack Obama isn’t too pleased either.
The fact of the matter is, that there never was a coup as reported by the main stream media. Zelaya was legally removed from office after he violated the Honduran constitution by trying to have a (rigged) referendum that would extend his time in office. That is illegal in Honduras, and it was their Supreme Court that issued the order to have this chavez pimp removed from office. It was legal folks. What was illegal is the scheme Zelaya hatched to have a referendum to see if he could remain in office even longer than the constitution mandated, and with pre-printed votes already marked, the Venezuelan supplied voting machines would tally up the votes. In other words, he couldn’t lose. Either the machine was rigged, or the ballots were fraudulent.
These elections were free and fair. It remains to be seen whether Obama will now lift sanctions against that tiny country, or even recognize the election at all. We know that Venezuela, Cuba, and Brazil will not recognize it, and those three countries are fellow Obama Marxists. The problems for Honduras are not over, being that they are surrounded by hostile neighbors. This puts Obama between a rock and a hard place. He can refuse to recognize the will of the Honduran people in a free and fair democratic election, or he can risk alienating his Marxist buddies in South America by honoring the results. Either way he loses. Whatever he does, expect him to continue to undermine Honduras, much the way he has since Zelaya was kicked out of office. In the meantime, congratulations Honduras for standing tall while Marxist thugs from Washington to Venezuela were baring their teeth. What do you think folks? If tiny Honduras can give Obama a fat lip and take their country back with no help at all, what can 300 million people do?
