U.S. Awarding Random Visas To Yemen

While the front door may close (temporarily), the back door is wide open.

In yet another example of how those in government should not be there, a terrorist visa IV has been in place since the 90′s and you can be sure that al-Qaeda is aware of this gaping security hole. Back when the thought of a terror attack on American soil was unthinkable, then president George H.W. Bush signed a bill that happened to contain a provision for diversity visas. These visas, championed by Ted Kennedy, would allow countries that had very low immigration rates to the United States to basically have their citizens play a visa lottery for the chance to come to the United States. Fill out some paperwork, and if you are the one chosen, all you would have to do is bs some hack bureaucrat in an interview and you are in. The bar is set pretty low as to what would qualify someone for this visa. In fact, it’s ridiculous. Ideally, the United States would want someone with at least a high school diploma to get one of these visas, but job experience in certain fields would be acceptable as well.

Examples of jobs that applicants can use in lieu of a high school diploma to qualify for the diversity visa lottery range from physicist and surgeon to librarian, park ranger, and choreographer.

You got that right. A surgeon without so much as a high school diploma would be able to nail one of these visas. You can’t blame Obama for coming up with such a stupid idea, but you can blame him for allowing it to continue.

Obama has stated that for now, none of the Gitmo thugs would be repatriated back to Yemen. I think there are 6 scheduled to go. However, under this diversity visa, 72 Yemenis are scheduled to hit the visa jackpot. That’s right, Obama is holding back 6, but doing nothing as 72 come through the back door. Are they all terrorist? Probably not. Are some of them terrorists? Pretty good chance. We can only speculate how many are already here. If you aren’t willing to send back 6, why take 72? And it doesn’t stop with Yemen, either. Some of the other countries scheduled to dump their best and brightest into the U.S. include 8 from Syria, 298 from Cuba, 1,084 from Sudan, and 2,773 from Iran. 3 state terror sponsors and a communist regime. What the hell do we need that kind of diversity for? If someone isn’t coming here to be 100% American, then stay home. There’s a difference between diversity and the destruction, and eventual bastardization of a culture. Teddy Roosevelt will tell you.
