Remember those rigged voting machines in New York that cost Doug Hoffman the election in November? Yeah, well…welcome to Massachusetts.
The idea that the possibility that a Republican could actually take the senate seat that was held for so long by Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts is exciting, if not historical. Some polls show Republican Scott Brown leading Democrat hack Martha Coakley just hours from the election. A cloud hangs over this election though, and it’s not the first cloud, and more than likely won’t be the last. The voting machines that will be used on Tuesday will be provided primarily by Diebold, a company with a history of scandal plagued machines. What they don’t provide will be covered by Sequoia, the same company that provided the rigged machines in New York’s ill-fated 23rd district election. In a close election, which this is likely to be, this doesn’t bode well for the Republican Brown. Doug Hoffman was the victim of rigged machines in New York, and the GOP did nothing as the bus rolled over him. Now Brown is in essentially the same position, with him not only facing the Democratic machine in Massachusetts, but the hackable machine(s) of Diebold.
You remember Diebold, don’t you? They have a history of providing machines of dubious quality, and it has been proved multiple times that their machines are easily hackable. In fact, these machines are in violation of federal standards, but for some reason…were never decertified. In fact, California dumped these machines after serious vulnerabilities were discovered, but Massachusetts did not.
Check the link regarding the machines that will be used on Tuesday. The article will knock your socks off. How this could be in the United States in 2010 is almost inconceivable. The other curious thing is why the GOP has nothing to say about these machines. Hmmm. These types of junk machines have already cost one senate seat, so you would think it would be in their interest to at least make a statement regarding the reliability of the machines, and to even question the questionable companies that service them. Not a word that I’m aware of.
Here are some possible scenarios, all based on the fact that these machines will be tallying the votes. If Brown comes up the winner on election day, Coakley may challenge the results, delaying his swearing in. In the meantime, the senate stand-in casts the 60th senate vote in favor of the upcoming health care bill. The other possible scenario is Coakley wins…and Brown challenges the results. Even if the results were overturned eventually, the recount would take time, and in the meantime…the same thing, health care passes. In fact, in a worst case scenario, this thing could drag out for months, as it did in Minnesota, before Al Franken was ultimately awarded the senate seat, and in that time frame scenario, Obama care, possibly an immigration reform bill, and even cap and trade could be passed.
Conspiracy? Wild speculation? We can only go with what we already know. We know that these machines are easily rigged and that fraud occurred just a few short months ago. Good luck Scott Brown. Hopefully we don’t have a repeat of Ny 23.

Brown has to win this election by enough so that there will be no recount. If there is a recount he will lose, the Democrats will steal it.
I don’t think that there is any way that if Brown wins he will be seated in time to stop healthcare.
I have to agree with Mr. Pink Eyes. There is no way Scott Brown will be seated in time to stop the health care reform bill.
I am hoping and praying that his win is a land slide. But I agree, healthcare may yet still pass before he is sworn in. However, I think Brown has enough ‘spine’ that it may not be as easy as the Democrats think.
If they try to hold up Brown, I think there will be hell to pay in 2010-and 2012. Brown has to win first though.
How else will they be able to get an extra few for Coakley in without this system? They can’t rely on ACORN.
No, but they have the SEIU and Obumbler himself doing their best though.

I think that Scott Brown will win cause the people has seen what Obama is all about. Even if he didn’t it would send a message to the democrats that are up for re-election that if they vote for the health care bill then in November it will be their job! Massachusetts being mostly a democrat one and the other states not make this a message election!
The tide turned fast didn’t it?
You do realize that MA still has 100,000 dead people registered to vote.
January 18th, 2010, Woburn, MA—116, 483 registered Massachusetts voters are dead, according to an analysis conducted by Aristotle International, Inc. a software and digital database developer.

There was a hand count done that showed Coakley actually won the election. This was done AFTER the election was called for Brown. Also, there were suspiciously no exit polls in this election. See link below:

No there wasn’t Randy. That was just somebody off the street making that claim. Notice no evidence of any kind to back up that claim.
