Harry Reid has it all figured out. He’s able to stand from his pulpit in Washington and assess the psychological stability of jobless Americans. That’s good news for him, because he will probably become one of them in November.
As this blithering idiot’s poll numbers continue to plummet, Harry Reid continues to say things that just fuel the decline. While debating his multi-billion dollar jobs bill in the senate, Reid went off his meds again and made his case for the urgency of passing his jobs bill. According to Reid, when men don’t have jobs, they tend to beat their wives. Yes, men apparently don’t beat their wives when they have jobs; they save that for when they’re down and out.
“Men, when they’re out of work, tend to become abusive,” the majority leader added. “Our domestic crisis shelters in Nevada are jammed.”
He gave women a pass. I guess they just don’t have that testosterone fueled anger that men have. Do you think Harry ever entertained the notion that wife beaters were that way even before they lost their jobs? Maybe guys that abuse their spouses had a problem before anything set them off?
No, he did not consider that. In fact, he made it clear that joblessness causes men to go off the deep end, and if not for that, they apparently would be the loving spouses that they were before the factory closed down. We’ll see in November how Harry Reid’s theory holds up in his own case. He lags in the polls against anybody and everybody who is against him, and he’s certain to alienate more out of work men in his district before then.
And he’s off to a good start. This week, in response to Republicans protesting the almost certain tactic of reconciliation to pass Obamacare, Reid told the Repubs to stop crying over it, the tactic is used all the time. I don’t recall it ever being used to pass something that would destroy 1/5 of the economy in one swoop. Reid talks about obamacare as if it’s just another bill, one in a long line of forgettable bills over the years. Harry, buy insurance or go to jail will not be forgotten. His condescension doesn’t stop there. You know he’s heard Republicans have ideas, and he looks forward to hearing them. It sounds like he’s patting a dog on the head. Never mind that Repubs have had their ideas posted online for months. It doesn’t matter. Reid never looked at those ideas, and would never have considered them anyway.
Stop crying, and get ready for reconciliation. And if the boss lays you off because he can’t afford to cover your insurance anymore…try to take it easy on the Mrs., okay?

I had the rare occasion to listen to Rush Limbaugh today and he was talking about Reid’s statement. I don’t usually care all that much for Rush, but he nailed it when he said Harry Reid opened his mouth without engaging his brain on this one. I am honestly surprised that the man was stupid enough to say that.

This isn’t the first time he’s made of fool of himself LD. Sooner or later someone will publish the definitive volume of “Reidisms.”
If this is true, Mrs. Reid had better be very careful after November. Have you ever heard abything as absurd as this? Men who abuse women are going to abuse them whether they are employed of unemployed, being unemployes may exacerbate the problem with these men, but itis not the cause. There is something not right in the brains of these men, not all men– in fact most men– are not wired this way. Harry Reid is simply a moron.

Something like this always makes ask the same question: How? How did somebody like that reach the position in life that he has? Brains? I don’t think he has any more brains than the average person. Maybe less based on his comments. common sense? He has none. How?
