Napolitano Admits Border Security Is A Fraud

Well this dovetail’s just perfectly with Obamacare coming down the pike and the upcoming amnesty push. Confirming what everyone already knew, the Mexican border is, and has been wide open.

When congress mandated a border fence few years back, a response to the cries of angry Americans who not only throttled the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill, but demanded border security in a manner that a superpower like the United States could provide, the idea was clear. Double layer fencing and patrols that would make the fence virtually inpenetrable. Instead, we got single layer fencing that is being dismantled from the Mexican side for scrap, and virtual fencing, electronic surveillance that was useless in theory and even more useless in practice.

The virtual boondoggle, a plan called SBInet, is a scheme for cameras and sensors along the border, to be provided by Boeing. Yes, the same Boeing that rakes in billions in defense contracts, were tapped to come up with this waste of time. And waste of time is was. Finally, Homeland Security head goon Janet Napolitano (speaking of waste of time) has scrapped the SBInet, citing cost overruns missed deadlines. She forgot to mention that half the junk that was installed didn’t work. She’s witholding millions in stimulus funds which will effectively kill the project. That won’t do anything about the money already spent.

Excuse me. Are we to believe that Boeing, the makers of jet airplanes, the architects of cutting edge military technology, can’t install a freakin’ camera? The guy at the 7-11 put his in just fine. But Boeing just can’t figure out how to do it. We’ve been had once again. Assuming this thing worked as advertised, in the end it is just virtual fencing. In other words, all we could do is watch the people coming across, but we couldn’t do anything about it. Why not? Obama has integrated Mexico with the border patrol. The Mexican government itself had indicated they have no intention of securing the border. We know that the border patrol has also been infiltrated with drug cartels. Honest border agents are looking at prison for possibly violating civil rights of illegal aliens. There are enough rules and blocks to make the jobs of those agents nearly impossible anyway. Not only that, these guys now not only have to watch out for what is coming at them, but they have to watch their backs as well. With a corrupt Mexico intertwined in the border patrol, you just can’t tell who the good guy is anymore.

That border is wide open, despite the flat out lies you hear from open border zealots in Washington. They’ll be using that same lie when the amnesty push comes, and with health care winding down…one way or another, the way will be clear for a full out amnesty attack. And yes, they’ll use that same at least decade old estimate of 10-12 million illegals. That just can’t be possible.

Amnesty, a total takeover of health care, and a rigged census will not only turn this country permanently to the left, but will create a 3rd world nightmare, with political power in the hands of those that only know the 3rd world mindset. I’ve said before that immigration dwarfs all other issues, because it affects all other issues. We are more integrated with Mexico than you think, and I’ve said before that at a certain point the problem cannot be solved. The numbers would be too huge. Take California for instance. Explosive immigrant birth rates-and most needing those entitlement programs the taxpayer provides will turn California into a Mexican state within 20 years. With amnesty, it will be more like 20 minutes.
