We already know all the arguments over the health care bill so there’s no use in going over that again. If you don’t know what they are, several blogs on the right can fill you in.
Here are the consequences of Bart Stupak bowing to his Marxist king. Now that they have this thing passed, they are more than willing to put up with the legal challenges. Meanwhile, it will be the law of the land. The fact is that it’s now out of the way (for them), and the table is clear for the rest of the socialist agenda.
Watching Fox last night, it looked as if Geraldo Rivera was going to have an orgasm right there in the studio. As the tally of votes moved towards passage, he knew, as we all knew, that millions of illegal aliens were about to obtain health insurance-compliments the American taxpayer. Step 1. Now the amnesty that Obama has been promising can move full speed ahead. We can fight, write our representatives, rally in the streets, make our views know at town halls, throw the bums out in November, but in the end…it won’t make any difference. It made no difference here. These clowns are going to ram their agenda through no matter what the people say. And by the time November rolls around you can expect Obamacare, amnesty, and cap and trade to be the law of the land.
Assuming that the predicted bloodbath in congress comes to fruition, we can’t assume that it will be so bad that there will be the kinds of numbers that could override a presidential veto. The best we can hope for is to not let bad bills end up on Obama’s desk. That won’t change what will occur between now and November. No amount of outrage was able to stop this. So while we follow the rules and play it straight with Washington, they do whatever the hell they want. Once these things are in place, even a titanic effort may not be enough to close the wounds. Take amnesty for example. Once the illegals have been legalized, that’s it. They, and their families will be here, end of story. Same with the health care. States can sue all they want, but it may be wishful thinking to think that a judge will issue an injunction on the implementation of this bill. No denial of pre-existing conditions go in effect immediately. What do you think is about to happen to premiums? Who will stop that?
I had to vent. We have to fight, but if feels like spitting in the wind. There may not be enough of us. There are those that will walk off the cliff for those socialists, and those that just aren’t interested in the debate. They’re lost. Open up the border and we are permanently outnumbered. Look how it’s working out for us now. There must be some kind of game changer before November. I don’t think we will have the kind of political power it will take to undo this mess.

We have to keep fighting. We made them delay this bill for almost a year but this is a bad precident. The administraion will now use reconciliation to pass all of its agenda before the election in November, all we can hope for is to delay as much of it as possible.
You’re right Mr. Pink Eyes. Just some frustration coming through. Sometimes I just need to get that out of my system.
There is no stopping them now according to Nancy and her socialist boss.
I hear you, sometimes I use my blog as a type of therapy. A way to vent all of my frustrations. It does work wonders!
