After seeing Barry’s kiss of death in Massachusetts, Virginia and New Jersey, Many Dems are less than anxious to see the man that threw an entire party under the bus come to their state.
Well, they could have listened to alternative viewpoints. Barack Obama is a socialst…at his most benign, and the agenda he is pushing is number one-even if that means sacrificing careers along the way. If a candidate already has a base of supporters and is looking for that independent vote to put them over the top, then Barack Obama is essentially useless to them. He is not popular with independents, and in fact has angered many.
Of course, when these Democrats were asked why they didn’t want Barry stinking up their state, they gave the standard reasons, such as the president’s busy schedule and other lies, designed to distance themselves from Obama and avoid any political attacks from the likes of Rahn Emanuel and the other Chicago thugs that surround Obama.
Well, it won’t work. Anybody that has their name tied to Democrat/Obama/health care is in trouble. If they actually voted for the health care bill, they have no one to blame but themselves. If they were so afraid of the political fallout within their own party that they voted for the bill in fear, then they may as well just quit the job, because they aren’t public servants. But we already knew that. How many in Washington are public servants, and how many are special interest whores, only there to serve those who put them there (and I don’t mean the voters), and those the lobby the hardest.
This shows that the people still do have power, at least at 2, 4 and 6 year intervals or so, although, like politicians, many voters forget the whole point of the exercise after the election. Until the next one of course, and then we hear the same promises and guarantees that we have heard from politicians through the decades. Funny how those problems never seem to get solved and we perpetually need these clowns to come in the fix the next catastrophe, that turns out to be the result of their intervention. If these people would just stay out of the way, what would this country look like? If the small government the founding fathers envisioned was actually a fact, how would we be doing?
How would we know? Government is huge, taxes are high, and there is no doubt another crisis on the way.
Now that healthcare reform has passed Democrats are trying to distance themselves from the president. If they really wanted to distance themselves from him the time to do it was when they voted for healthcare reform but Democrats put the party ahead of the people and now they must pay the price. They can distance themselves from Obama all they want but the truth is this bill would not have passed if is wasn’t for them. We will not forget.
Let us not forget the ones that voted no ONLY after enough votes were already secured for passage. They will be able to campaign and say they voted no on the bill, but if their vote was needed, it would have been there.
Very true, I think that Massachusetts rep Steve Lynch falls into that category.He only voted no because there was no public option, but if his vote was needed I am sure he would have provided it. How many more like Lynch are there?
