My God, it hasn’t even been a week, and this son of a bitch is back at it. Forget November, recall this political cyst right now.
Only days after piously announcing that any kind of amnesty legislation was dead in the senate, Lindsey grahamnesty Graham punched another hole in the American flag and announced that he would continue to work with Chuck Schumer to make sure amnesty passes this time. This cretin may have other RINO’s to help him out, such as Olympia Snowe, and that would effectively make any vote by Scott Brown obsolete. As long as those two clowns are in the senate, were right back where we were before. The senate will have those 60 votes and won’t even have to deal with reconciliation. Barack Obama can also claim bi-partisanship, although everyone…and I mean everyone, knows that Graham and Snowe are Dem plants in the Republican party. That’s not to say there aren’t others who won’t join them. We know that RINO John McCain has been making noises regarding amnesty as well.
If someone called you a Nazi, racist, un-American, spat in your eye, blocked you from negotiations, ignored your ideas, and rammed through a bill nobody wanted, would you want to work with that crowd? Lindsey Graham does, and he’s working on something that will be irreversible and do damage that no country can recover from. It’s hard to know what his motivation is. What’s in it for him? He must know that the majority of Americans are against anything like this, and certainly the good folks of South Carolina could do without a flood of immigrants looking for what jobs there are and what handouts are available.
I’ve said it before; if your a Democrat socialist, just say so. I’ll vehemently disagree with your stands, but at least you’ll walk the walk. He won’t do it though. Neither will Snowe, or McCain. They will just keep on pretending they’re Republicans and won’t make the switch like Arlen Specter did. Arlen thought the Obama train was just going to keep on chugging. He was wrong. Now the Republican party will have to deal with the likes of Lindsey Graham, and someone in that party had better step up and set Graham straight. That’s where, in theory, Michael Steele steps in. He hasn’t stepped in yet, and I don’t expect that he will. The Republicans were booted out just a few short years ago because they were a mess. Well, they’re still a mess. A few years hasn’t fixed that. Sure, the lesser of two evils, but evils all the same. We need all hands on deck, not traitors like Graham, McCain and Snowe to undercut this country.
I hate to wish months of my life away hoping November gets here soon, but…

I had a feeling that this would happen. The troubling part here is that there is probably more Republican support for this and for cap and trade than there was for healthcare. As you said, it only takes a couple of them to flip on this issue. The wildcared here will be John McCain; we all know his stance on this issue but it is an election year and he has a serious primary opponent. He either will not dare to vote for this or he will say what the hell, I am losing anyway I might as well vote for it. It will be interesting to watch him.
They only need a single defector to run this thing through the senate. they have that in Lindsey Graham.
We are screwed!
More than you know Mr. Pink Eyes.
