Not sure what part of the Alinsky bible this tactic comes from. The line that defines right wing becomes more blurred every day. Apparently, the new definition applies to anyone that opposes anything the government has ever done, is doing, or will ever do. That covers just about everybody. Oh that’s right, they already have everyone covered.
With timing that redefines coincidence, the FBI has sent out a warning that a letter being sent to governors around the country could trigger violence. The letter, from a group calling itself Guardians of the free Republics demands that governors remove themselves from office withing 3 days or they will be removed. The FBI concedes that no violence was intimated, and in fact, if you go to the group’s website, they specifically promote non-violent change. What the hell does the FBI do? I’m looking out the window and I don’t see crime dropping. What do they do other than this? Does this kind of activity require a massive agency?
Never the less, this group has been branded right wing and governors around the country have been put on alert. This action comes as the arrest of a hillbilly family in Michigan made national headlines. Yes, they were branded right wing as well. Add to that Barack Obama crying to Matt Lauer about the extreme rhetoric coming from the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. If Barry feels that way about Beck and Limbaugh, then we can only speculate what he thinks of you, if you happen to listen to either one.
Do you see a pattern here? Could be a coincidence. On the other hand, it’s not clear what made a group like Guardians of the free Republics right wing. Their website is horribly convoluted, and they don’t seem to favor one side or the other. Much of their material is rambling, and religious in nature. But you have to invent a boogeyman if you want to continue to ram through a very unpopular agenda, so the fringe groups and the hillbillys have all been consolidated into the right wing extremist category, along with Obama foes Beck and Limbaugh. Yes, apparently Glenn Beck and the inbreds up in Michigan are of the same movement.
Whether this is just a another failed attempt to bash opposition to Obama, or if something more sinister is in the works remains to be seen. After all, Obama installed Mark Lloyd at the FCC, and this guy wants to shut the mouths of anybody that isn’t on board with the agenda, Chavez style. No, that isn’t rhetoric Barry, you are the one that hired that particular czar.
If this is indeed a campaign to demonize Obama opponents, it’s not clear why they’re even bothering. They already have a proven formula for success. Give the American people the finger and ram through whatever they want. They have until November to use that formula over and over again. Of course if amnesty is rammed through in the interim, November may be the greatest victory ever achieved by the Democrats. Think of the millions of extra votes they’ll have. There wouldn’t be enough right wing militants in the entire country that could stem that tide. Then again, something like that would likely spawn the very types of groups that the Muslim loving snivelers at Homeland Security whine about. Hows that for irony?

I think you are right on with this article. ANyone who opposes the president are being labeled as dangerous. There was no threat of violence in these letters and yet the FBI is still investigating them? Something is wrong here. This administration does not like critics to the point where they are trying to stop people from speaking out by using intimidation. We can only expect this tactic to get worse as he rams through more unpopular legislation.
He’s already alienating his supporters and in the end that may be our ace in the hole. If we can lame duck him in Novemeber and make him a one term president, we might…have a chance to undo some of the harm.
It is my greatest wish that he alienate his supporters en masse. One term is all I pray for every night.
Prayers have been answered before. Don’t stop.
