This planted story almost certainly means that cap and trade legislation is on the way, maybe even before amnesty legislation. Don’t worry though, they will get to amnesty.
An AP story, obviously written without much research, warns that the great glaciers of world are melting and its all due to climate change. Yes, any change in weather is technically climate change, but these clowns have hijacked the term for their own use. The U.S. Geological Survey has come out with disturbing news over the melting glaciers in Montana. They warn that the big ones are melting away, and that they may all be gone by the end of the decade. Sound familiar? That’s the same line that IPCC used to describe the fate of the Himalayas. They later had to concede that the warning was based on absolutely nothing, and in the end prompted India to can the IPCC and do their own climate change research.
Here is where the lack of research kicks in for this cap and trade fluff piece. The article says that most scientists are attributing global warming to greenhouse gases. Hmmm, just like the EPA said. Most scientists. Who the hell would that be? They don’t say, just most. Then they go on to say that the Himalayas could hold out for centuries. According to these scientists the fate of most other glaciers is not as rosy.
It could prove a losing battle: Scientists working for the United Nations say the last period of widespread glacial growth was more than three decades ago, lasting only for a few years.
That’s right. Whoever planted this article is using the United Nations as an expert on climate change. The fact is, that the United Nations has been proven to be a fraud on the subject (among many others), and from their own mouth can’t be believed. AP believes though.
Here’s the kicker though, and it shoots down the entire article. When talking about glacier growth, they destroy their entire greenhouse gas argument in one sentence.
Since about 1850, when the Little Ice Age ended, the trend has been steadily downward.
Since 1850. What kind of greenhouse gases were tearing up the environment in those days? The loon contradicts himself a few sentences later.
“They’ve been on this landscape continually for 7,000 years, and we’re looking at them disappear in a couple of decades,” he said.
Wait a minute? I thought they said the decline started in 1850? Now all of a sudden its a couple of decades? Which is it?
I’ll tell you what it is. It’s the natural ebb and flow of a dynamic environment. The earth cools, the earth warms and that has always been occurring. Even Phil Jones at East Anglica concedes that the earth is currently in a cooling trend. He and his phony data is a major contributor to the fraud that the United Nations continues to push. This article references the United Nations and at the same time contradicts the guy who feeds that phony data to the U.N.

These people are just not going to give up are they? This whole scam has been exposed and yet they continue to spout their nonsense. If Obama wants this legislation he will get it, there is literally nothing that we can do to stop it, we learned that with healthcare.
If the average Joe just glossed over this type of article, they might be taken in. If you actually sit down and read it, the argument can be dismantled piece by piece. I agree with your assessment, which makes me wonder why they even bother with this type of propaganda.
Yeah! Their claimed warming trend was nothing more than the positive cycle of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation. Now that it has switched to cooling and the temperature curves are “right on” the mark showing the expected downward cooling trend, they refuse to admit they were wrong! Investigations of recent indicate that CO2 and other alleged greenhouse gases (in the presence of the earth’s atmospheric water vapor),truthfully, are minor players in the overall scheme of global climate change. As a matter of fact, the whole concept of atmospheric greenhouse gases is flawed and there should be another name given to atmospheric radiative warming. Again, recent studies have also indicated that CO2 has not risen as claimed. The CO2 levels have risen and fallen over the decades remaining within the present range of ppm as we now have. This is because of the oceanic and other auto adjusting feedback loops now known to exist. I appreciate all the new studies from those that have done honest scientific climate work and found the courage to publish and defend the truth.
