The charade known as the Obama immigration policy just keeps on playing. Just weeks after wasting more money by signing a $600 million border security farce, we now get the news that the very criminals that new funding was to target are being turned loose-criminal record and all.
An ICE spokesman provided the unsurprising news on Tuesday that the Department of Homeland insecurity is prioritizing its immigration cases based on criminal history. They only want the big fish. If an illegal alien has committed a mere misdemeanor, and have been in the country for a few years, they’ll just turn them loose. How they determine the length of time an illegal has been in the country is anybody’s guess, but in the end, this isn’t about prioritizing at all: This is about defacto amnesty.
Obama and his cronies know that there is no way that he can ram through amnesty this year, but if he can keep the current crop of illegals in the country he can give them official amnesty later. In the meantime, Democrats will continue to receive fraudulent votes from many of the these illegal aliens. If you don’t think that occurs, I invite you to visit California. Pick a candidate before you come, because nobody will question who you are at the polling place. All you have to do is come up with a name and you can vote for that person. With voter turnout so low, you have a good chance of being able to cast a vote for someone else. In fact, you may be able to do it several times. Without the support of millions of illegal aliens, along with their legal family and friends, the Democratic party would be significantly weaker. That’s at least 20 million potential voters, and if an amnesty can indeed be passed later, you can add millions more on to the Dem voter rolls.
The DHS is doing this even as the Justice Department sues Arizona for trying to protect themselves against the very same individuals that the DHS is turning loose. If that doesn’t fit the definition of an upside down universe, nothing does. Could Janet Napolitano be charged with aiding and abetting illegal aliens? Committing a crime under the color of authority? You bet she could. The problem is that you would have to turn her in to the Justice Department.
The next time you hear of someone that cheated, lied, connived or stole, just remember where those values are emanating from. The message from Washington is that those values are not only okay, but is how business is done.
