With unemployment hovering in the 12% range, layoffs abounding, and services being cut in Los Angeles, the illegal alien money party rolls on.
Anchor babies are easy money, and the illegal aliens that pop them out know it. The payments for anchor babies in Los Angeles increased to $52 million in July, and the trend is upward. A recent study by the Pew Research Center claims that illegals are leaving in droves, but the numbers in Los Angeles do not support that assertion. In fact, welfare to anchor babies has increased 7% this year in Los Angeles, even as illegals are supposedly hi-tailing it out of town. That can’t be true. Why would they leave? This is free money-for them. Clearly, the cesspool they came from did not have free handouts for them. For the taxpayer though, it is a much different story.
According to County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, when you add up the welfare, the jail costs, and health care costs for illegal aliens, the total exceeds $1.5 billion, just for Los Angeles county. That does not include housing, where the estimate must be millions more.
Well, they aren’t here because we’re number two, but at the same time, Los Angeles is broke due to horrific mismanagement, graft, and corruption. Add illegal aliens to the mix and you have a city in shambles and absolutely no will on the part of city leaders to change anything. For those that choose to stay in Los Angeles, the cost will be higher taxes, fewer services, overcrowding, racism, and a perpetually high unemployment rate. It will only get worse from there.
You can expect higher taxes, because that’s the only way these politicians know how to generate any money. The voting record of the citizens of Los Angeles makes it easy for them to continue with that mind set. Still, with city layoffs, they will have to cut services to continue with their mismanagement. That includes, police, fire, and other emergency services. You can forget about fixing the roads as well. That’s okay, because they’re so crowded anyway you can barely see them. Uninsured clunkers troll every block of the city. And why not? The penalty for getting caught is so minor, there’s no deterrent. Meanwhile, opening your mouth to protest any kind of strain illegal aliens put on the city will get you branded as racist. The same goons that are making the charges freely instill the values of la raza in their children, and expect you to approve of their ethnic pride.
Unfriendly to business, in love with illegal aliens, and corrupt to the core. That’s Los Angeles, and unfortunately, it is not the only city like that. I’ve spoken of a tipping point in the United States before, where there may not be a way to recover from the illegal alien tidal wave at a certain point. Los Angeles may already be there.
