This is being billed as a shift in foreign policy for the Obama regime, but you can look up plenty of articles on this blog and find that it will be just a continuation of Obama’s submission to Islam, and his forcing of America to come along for the ride.
Obama will be giving a speech today, and whatever he says will likely be much the same as he’s been saying since he was installed into the White House. According to previews of the speech, Obama will tout the opportunity for America to…bow to Islam completely, apparently. Jay Carney laid out the oh so titillating details.
According to Carney, less military and more diplomacy will be the order of the day. You are correct, that is viewed as a sign of weakness by Islam. I’m all for less military though. I thought no-fly zones were pretty effective when utilized. If you’re going to be there, and actually have a reason for being there, then it’s a pretty good strategy. I don’t think that’s what Obama has in mind though. I think his plan is to lend legitimacy to the new thugs that have overthrown the old thugs. Overthrown with a little help I’m sure.
That submission I spoke of includes-you guessed it, significant economic aid. Yes, Egypt, who currently boasts roaming bands of Islamic thugs slaughtering Christians wherever they can find them are on the list as recipients. This comes as a goon from the Muslim Brotherhood announced that he will be vying for the presidency in that country. Look up the brotherhood, and the spiderweb of organizations it has spawned. Obama plans on borrowing money from China, and handing it over to them, leaving us with the bill. If China balks, well, they’ll just have to make cuts including using the tax code to make it happen. Either way, we pay for the proliferation of Islam. After all, it’s all in support of democracy movements in those countries. Someone may argue the point, but mob rules isn’t exactly democracy.
Obama isn’t done though. As he’s done since taking office, he plans on forcing America to step back, an apparent attempt to distance himself with the philosophy of the Bush administration. Funny, considering that not only has Obama continued the two wars initiated under Bush, but has started a third for good measure. All in support of democracy though. However, what Obama is calling democracy in the Islamic world is being called a sharia revival in the Middle East. Obama wants to clear the way, and then just lay back.
“The big difference in the DNA of these [Obama] guys and the Bush people is, the Bush people had a U.S.-centric view: that nothing happens in the world if the United States is not at the center of it,” Lynch said. The Obama administration “believes the United States has an important role to play, but is not the driver.”
What Obama-and Bush for that matter does not understand is that democracy is not a word in the Islamic vocabulary. It goes against everything that religion stands for. If Obama thinks he can create a happy, fluffy sharia region of the world, he’s either incredibly naive, or a co-conspirator in the spread of radical Islam. Radical-Islam. Is there any other kind?
2012 is a watershed moment in our nation’s history. Four more years of this and we will have succeeded in empowering the worst elements of the human condition. The scum that is rising to the top in the Middle East are not freedom fighters, or pro-democracy patriots. They are radical thugs, not much different than the radical thugs they deposed in places like Egypt and Tunisia. The new crop though, is emboldened by the fact that the very Satan they want to exterminate will be bankrolling the endeavor. Well, when you have Valerie Jarrett making foreign policy, what else can you expect?

And the beat goes on, this man is pathetic.
I wonder how much of this will end up in the next budget?
That was a powerful one liner

I total agree with what you say. Four more years of this and our once great nation will be little more than a Euro country, if that. My only fear is, I don’t know who in the current Republican field is strong/charismatic enough to win an election against Obama…
Well, the good news is that the “front runners” are stumbling badly for the Republicans. That opens the door for someone else.
China and Iran and Venezuela are becoming close allies. At the same time the US is giving-up its leadership roll in the Middle-East. This is going to turn out very badly.
Almost forgot, the Saudis are trying to make friendly with China also.
well, we already saw Obama bow to China-literally when Hu Jintao came to visit. Should we be surprised?
Israel is going to be toast. I cannot believe that the American Jews will continue to support this man. Go figure.
The mystery is why they ever supported him. I think Mark Steyn called it “self loathing.”
