The sovereignty of the United States is under relentless attack, but if you happen to be on the other side of the world you need to be a little creative to participate. If you aren’t on the border of the United States, then you can’t just walk in, so other countries are using a different tack to flood the United States with anchor babies. It seems as though the emergence of birth tourism is coming mainly from Asia-China in particular. And yes, our government is as seemingly oblivious to this as any other type of anchor baby scheme.
The scheme allegedly caters to wealthy women from other countries. They come to United States ready to give birth very soon. Of course, with the current misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment, those children automatically become U.S. citizens, and with that opens an array of opportunties for the families. Apparently, these people don’t stay here; just long enough for the kids to be born U.S. citizens, and then they return to China. Now why would they do that?
The linked article focuses on some of these citizenship mills that are private individuals running the operation our of their homes. That part got my attention. If these are so-called wealthy clients, then why go to these kinds of mom and pop operations, some charging as much as $5000 per month to take care of the nursing mothers? Why can’t they use the system that is already in place for pregnant women?
Well, I can only speculate, but there’s a good chance that these women aren’t wealthy at all, but are being bankrolled by the Chinese government. Why leave their homeland, with an economy growing at a 10 percent a year clip? Why leave their riches behind? They’re rich, right? Why come to a country that is in the throes of economic upheaval with no answers in sight? For many, green cards and massive chain migration is the ultimate plan. But why?
We can look no further than Mexico for the answer. Just because someone was born in the United States doesn’t mean they have any allegiance. The Southwest is littered with Mexican agents posing as American politicians. Muslims have Keith Ellison and Andre Carson imposing their will in Congress. It would make sense that if China could overwhelm a few districts with some of their own, then they could have a real say in the workings of the United States government. Even local governments for that matter. Sounds outrageous? Consider this: Some districts in California have politicians in office that were elected with less than 5000 votes. Yet those politicians have just as much of a voice as anybody else in the state legislature. It doesn’t take everyone in a district to get you elected, just enough to win. Add to that the number of people who just don’t bother to vote, and Chinese drones-with American citizenship could be popping up in a few decades.
Yes, that is long term, but you have to figure China is thinking long term in regards to the United States. With all the money owed to China, it would make sense that China wants to control the United States, to subjugate it, but not destroy it. Here is a way, without firing a shot. Mexico has been very successful using this method, although they’ve been able to do it much more quickly because of their proximity to the border. The results are the same though.
Legal immigrants with money is fine with me. I am on record supporting that. This seems a little fishy to me though. Rich people giving up everything China is offering in the future for citizenship in the United States. I understand the illegal aliens from Mexico; most don’t have anything. Call me paranoid, a conspiracy theorist maybe, but rich people forsaking their booming economy to make sure their kids are U.S. citizens just doesn’t look right on the surface.

Birthright citizenship is an issue which must be addressed soon! The 14th amendment has been perverted to mean something that was never intended.I haven’t heard ofof these birth tourist packages before but it is certainly a deliberate attack on our system, and needs to be stopped sooner rather than later.
Is anybody buying the “rich tourist” story? Who by coincidence is ready to give birth? Perfect time to jump on a plane and fly half way around the world.
I wondered what the proposed China “cities” they want to build in the U.S.was all about. So they will set up shop, and have their babies here. I have been pondering that.

I remember that article. Balkanization, Chinese style.
America needs to revise our immigration laws. I like how Australia does it, You need to have a job lined up, You need approval that takes up to 2 years, and you need a sponsor I worked with a guy who married a gal over there he had to wait almost 2 years to be with his wife. All over Europe these countries are having problems with immigrants from Asia and the middle east It`s just nuts.
Well Barb, one of big issues here is that there are laws on the books, but they aren’t being enforced. Do they need upgrading/tweaking? Sure, but so far the Washington solution is to just make up their own depending on who’s in the White House.
