While Mexican drug cartels bum rush the border, killing everything that gets in their way and drugging anything that survives, the gun running Obama regime is fighting like a wild animal to make sure individual states do nothing to stop the mayhem.
The Justice Department has their fangs in Arizona, Georgia, Alabama, Utah, and Indiana, not to mention various cities and towns, making sure illegal aliens are protected from the long arm of the law, all the while making sure automatic weapons await the hapless souls who don’t make it across the border. The schizophrenic Obama regime has now turned its sights on South Carolina, the latest state that has had it with illegal immigration. Their law would require law enforcement to check the immigration status of those they suspect of being in the country illegally. The Justice Department is using the same argument they’re using in every other state; the feds have unadulterated control over immigration law, whether they want to enforce it or not.
“Although states may exercise their police power in a manner that has an incidental or indirect effect on aliens, a state may not establish its own immigration policy or enforce state laws in a manner that interferes with federal immigration laws,” said the filing submitted by U.S. Assistant Attorney General Tony West.
Yeah, I’ve talked about Tony West before. He’s the brother in law of California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who rode into office on a wave of illegal alien votes. Straight out of San Francisco. West’s resume boasts defending the American Taliban John Walker Lindh. He’s also the lead thug in Arizona’s SB 1070 immigration conflagration. Hand picked by Obama.
We can guess what will happen. An activist judge will overturn the law-or so much of it that it will be useless, and South Carolina will be in the same position as every other state that dared try and defend themselves. Should they do it by the book, they face American traitors at the Justice Department, crooked liberal judges and and administration of law that is so far out of the boundaries of common sense that you wonder how these clowns became lawyers in the first place.
While these court challenges go on, the border remains wide open, and illegal aliens enjoy rights Americans can only dream of. Simply tresspassing on a property would get any of us arrested, but break in to the country, steal an identity, suck away social services, and reproduce so that the party continues, and you have the full weight of the Justice Department to defend you. Don’t let that little operation in Arizona where they netted 50 Sinaloa guys in a five year operation fool you. Those were bottom feeders. Five years. That’s nothing. Well, I shouldn’t say nothing; it’s more they scooped up with Fast and Furious.
The Justice Department is covering for everyone from the Black Panthers to Mexican drug cartels. And they’re making damn sure these illegal alien voters don’t get touched before 2012. Justice? This is what happens when you follow the rules, and do it by the book. You get smacked down by those who make their own rules as they go along. How much longer until we go to plan B? You decide what plan B is, but make it fast because Plan A is likely to be tied up in the courts for months, or even years. Meanwhile, the population is shifting right now. We are having a third world country dumped on top of us.

The Obama regime and the Democrats in general have a vested interest in keeping the illegals here and they aren’t going to let anyone stop them. They will tie these states up in court for years and even if the states do end up winning how many more illegals will have crept into the country while the lawsuits were ongoing?
That’s why I mentioned “plan B” because what we’re doing now just isn’t moving fast enough.
When will the states ever find a conservative judge? And, pray tell me how the state laws on illegal immigrants are “interfering with federal immigration laws. when the FBI and local police have a turf war over a given case, the FBI does not always win. And, when the FBI does win, they actually pursue the case. If federal immigration officers want to deal with a particular case in Arizona, Alabama, or South Carolina I’m sure the local authorities will be glad to step aside. States are allowed, for example, to write environmental protection laws, as long as, those laws are at least as stringent as the federal laws. Why shouldn’t that work the same with immigration law?
Jim, your argument makes too much sense. Obama doesn’t want anybody enforcing immigration laws, period. He has an agenda.
