You can’t make this up-I take that back, apparently you can make this up. Why is it when the conversation turns to civility and tolerance that it is the left that exhibits these qualities the least? Take the tea party movement for example. First, it was a racist movement. Nancy Pelosi called them Nazis. Joe Biden called them terrorists. Maxine Waters told them to go to hell. But in the upside down world of academia, it is conservatives that are the problem. If you believe the academic liberal elite, conservatives are just a bunch of dumb hillbilly racists that gravitate towards the party of old white men. Sound over the top? Sounds like rhetoric to you? No, that is literally the conclusion drawn to identify me, and most of the people that read this blog.
A study conducted at Brock University in Ontario came up with the findings. The study was led by Gordon Hodson, a hack psychologist who more than likely cememted his tenure at the university. Following an unnamed number of children in England over a period of years, he has come to the conclusion that conservative equals prejudice, and a low I.Q. is the facilitator.
Low-intelligence adults tend to gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, the study found. Those ideologies, in turn, stress hierarchy and resistance to change, attitudes that can contribute to prejudice, Hodson wrote in an email to LiveScience.
The study comes to the conclusion that not only are conservatives stupid and racist, but even dealing with a subject such as racism was just too challenging for the small minds of conservatives.
“This finding is consistent with recent research demonstrating that intergroup contact is mentally challenging and cognitively draining, and consistent with findings that contact reduces prejudice,” said Hodson, who along with his colleagues published these results online Jan. 5 in the journal Psychological Science.
You saw that right. You, my friend, are just too mentally challenged to deal with an issue like race. Not the Al Sharptons, or the Louis Farrakhans, or even Barack Obama and his buddy Jeremiah Wright. No, not them, but conservatives-who they singled out specifically, are just too stupid to deal with the issue on the intellectual level of the aformentioned race baiters.
I’ve documented on this blog many times the blatant and overt racism directed against whites. The only people that would actually buy the snake oil being sold with this study are the very people that they claim are not stupid and prejudiced. In the old days, the way to shut up whites and practice reverse discrimination unopposed is to accuse whites of racism. It didn’t have to be true, but the energy and time consumed fighting the accusation effectively ended any real conversation about race. That’s how you shut up a stupid hillbilly.
Basically, these clowns are blaming conservatives for the failure of the melting pot experiment. It’s a little late to change it now in the United States, and we’ll just have to deal with the various tribes jockeying for positions of power. No longer are we a nation under God, but a nation of disconnected special interests, each separate in their ideology and desires of what America should be. Of course, the conclusion I just drew is just the kind of attitude this study uses as proof that conservatives are dumb racists. There’s only one problem though: I’m right. In the most welcoming country on the face of the earth, all I ask is the expectation that those who come here embrace the ideas and culture of America. After all, we didn’t become number one embracing failed cultures around the world did we? There I go with my hillbilly diatribe again.
Is it rhetoric, or are these kinds of folks so blinded by their ideology that they can’t see that what is in some cases, the obvious. Take immigration that was mentioned in the linked article. Do they not see the damage being done, not only to America, but to the host countries losing their working class population? They do not see that. Do they not see that sharia law is incompatible with American values? They do not. I could go on and on. These clowns came to a conclusion based on cloudy data that they mined for themselves. Me…I can back up my argument, and if these researchers would like to debate it with me, then this stupid conservative will be happy to oblige.

We have always said that the liberals think they are smarter than everyone else and know what is best for everyone and now they have released a study that proves our point. I think this says more about themselves than it does about us.
We’re so stupid that we don’t have the cognitive function to realize that they are smarter and know what’s best for all of us. Literally, they’re saying we can’t understand to the point of even having a debate.
Just remember the Planet of the Apes! We knuckle draggers are a force to contend with.
Excellent allegory. I always knew that movie was more than a sci fi flick.
We’re headed straight for third world status.
Noooo..you just don’t understand the complexities of the world.
These studies are just so bogus, they are taken without real data and they are only taken to inflame someone. We are all guilty of it though. I wish we could all just stick to the facts and not put everyone in a box. I myself am on both sides of political fence. I am not a stupid raciest, and I am not a stupid liberal. I take issues on an individual basis, and decide after I have all the facts.
“Sound over the top? Sounds like rhetoric to you?”
Parallelism: Both sentences have the same subject, but they conjugate the verb differently. Apparently something can ‘sound’ and ‘sounds’ at the same time.
“No, that is literally the conclusion drawn to identify me, and most of the people that read this blog.”
Literally means “exactly as written.” Don’t use “literally” when you write a figure of speech.
Also, the second comma is not necessary.
“The study was led by Gordon Hodson, a hack psychologist who more than likely cememted his tenure at the university.”
Cemented has only one m.
“Of course, the conclusion I just drew is just the kind of attitude this study uses as proof that conservatives are dumb racists.”
Logical fallacy: A conclusion is not an attitude and there is nothing suggesting the study ‘uses an attitude as proof’. It uses sociological data as evidence to suggest a CORRELATION.
“There’s only one problem though: I’m right.”
Confirmation bias.
“Is it rhetoric, or are these kinds of folks so blinded by their ideology that they can’t see that what is in some cases, the obvious.”
Confirmation bias.
“Do they not see that sharia law is incompatible with American values?”
Irrelevant.
“These clowns came to a conclusion based on cloudy data that they mined for themselves.”
Random sampling is the exact opposite of data mining.
” Me…I can back up my argument, ”
Evidence requested.
“and if these researchers would like to debate it with me, then this stupid conservative will be happy to oblige. ”
Researchers, by definition, study a subject as-is. They have no interest in debating a topic. They only present findings.
I would give you an A for effort. I think it’s cute that you get offended so easily.
Steinbeck, Am I missing something here? Who are you answering? I thought we were just putting in our 2 cents worth.
I’m quoting the blog post and pointing out its fallacies. As a conservative myself, I’m disappointed that there are so many holes in this man’s argument. Really comes off as him saying “I resemble that remark”
This is really getting ridiculous. Did you read the one about Paul?
http://newsone.com/nation/casey-gane-mccalla/anonymous-reveals-close-ties-between-ron-paul-and-neo-nazis/
I didn’t see anything in that article that actually tied Ron Paul to those guys.
I took that community college logic class as well. Should I take the time to dismantle your response? You aren’t the first person that tried to redirect my opinion with amateur logic. Your response is laced with your own opinion. Yes, I did see that. Feel free to continue correcting my grammar though.
I don’t give a shit about your opinion. I just think you stated it in a profoundly retarded way. It makes the rest of us on the right look bad.
Steinbeck it`s okay we are just all concerned Americans that may not agree with each-other but sometimes we do change our opinions about things when given different prospective`s. I`m no scholar but some of the brightest minds have made huge mistakes by being pig headed and not listening to others.
You’ve replied to this post several times and expressed your concern that I might singlehandedly make “the rest of us” look bad. Clearly you do give a shit. So far though, you’re the only one that has expressed any kind of criticism, so I wouldn’t lose any sleep over this post.
