The fight for civil rights in this country was hard, it was lengthy, and at times very bloody. Those that were in the trenches during those days have much to be proud of. At the same time, it must be very hard to watch all their hard work degenerate into a circus of hate, the very thing being fought against. You would be correct if you thought that the Supreme Court struck down affirmative action several years ago. Don’t tell that to the Department of Justice. In yet another display of blatant racism, the DOJ is forcing the Dayton Police Department to lower their testing standards so more minorities can pass the entrance exam. On the heels of a congressional report that said there were too many whites in high ranking military positions, the DOJ has been on their own crusade to dumb down police departments across the nation. Their latest target is Dayton, Ohio, where the current entrance exam into the police force there requires scores of 66% and 72% respectively on the two part exam. Thanks to the DOJ, those scores will fall to 58% and 63%. Yes, those are an F, and a D respectively. In other words, you can actually fail the entrance exam in Dayton and still be accepted. Continue reading DOJ Forcing Lower Standards for Police Recruits The media response to the Tucson shooting is absurd and embodies everything they accuse conservatives of being. The hateful, accusatory rhetoric has only served to deepen divisions and set a new benchmark for attacks on perceived political opponents. Sarah Palin will tell you. She’s received a spike in death threats, not because of what she has said, but what was said about her. Feed lies and propaganda to unhinged individuals and you can expect bad things to happen. What has happened this week wasn’t political discourse: It was a battle plan. You would think the America hating left would have covered all the bases. You would be correct in that assertion. NPR has provided the last piece to the hate rhetoric puzzle: The race card. We already know that the publicly funded NPR has an agenda, and it is swung to the left. They will not tolerate any deviation from that agenda. To the chagrin of Michelle Obama, I’m sure. They must have missed her message on tolerance. Juan Williams will tell you. He was fired for speaking the truth about Islam. A gaggle of young Middle Eastern men boarding a plane would make me nervous as well. Those nerves got Williams fired. NPR CEO Vivian Schiller even suggested Williams talk to a shrink for making such a valid statement. He now has a cushier-and I’m sure more profitable gig over at FOX. But while they have a problem with the likes of Juan Williams, not a conservative by any means, they apparently have no problem publishing racist tripe from the likes of Daisy Hernandez, described by activist promoting Jodi Solomon Speakers Bureau as “A queer Cubana-Colombiana Americana.” She’s more than that.
