Only if you advocate border security though. Sounding more like a Nancy Pelosi clone than a self-professed libertarian presidential candidate, Ron Paul made a shameless play to prop up his faltering campaign. With virtually no chance of getting the Republican nomination, Paul made one last ditch effort to pander to an exploding demographic in hopes of gaining a few more delegates.

Speaking to a room full of open borders advocates calling themselves Hispanics in Politics, Paul said all the right things to the crowd that was in front of him. Of course, the folks in front of him are not in favor of securing the border at all, and for those that are, Paul had some choice comments directed at them.

Paul’s stated positions on immigration sound sensible on the surface. The question is, does he mean what he says? Enforcement of border security. He’s advocated bringing our troops home and putting them on the border. Troops on the border is a good idea in light of the fact that Mexican drug cartels are heavily armed, courtesy of Fast and Furious. He’s against amnesty, citing the obvious fact that it would encourage even more illegal immigration-as it has before. He wants to abolish the welfare state. An impossibility as long as one Democrat is still alive, but at least attempting to address the destructive culture of government handouts is a step in the right direction. He also proposes ending birthright citizenship. If the 14th Amendment was property interpreted, we wouldn’t even be having this discussion.

What Paul had to say to the reconquistas was quite different though. Suggesting that Americans could care less about illegal immigration when economic times are good, Paul ignored the fact that immigration has exploded in the 10 years. Even government numbers show that illegal immigration has surpassed legal immigration as the preferred choice of entry into the United States. To Paul though, all you have to do is slip a couple of bucks to an American, and all is well.

He talked about how Americans are more accepting of outsiders when the economy is good, but when trouble looms there is a search for scapegoats.

Millions of Americans are desperately seeking work, while millions more illegal aliens hold jobs that should go to those desperate Americans. Very few are out in the fields, by the Mexican government’s own admission. As far as Paul is concerned though, one whimper of protest and you’re acting like a Nazi.

“I believe Hispanics have been used as scapegoats, to say, they’re the problem instead of being a symptom maybe of a problem with the welfare state,” Paul told the group. “In Nazi Germany they had to have scapegoats to blame and they turned on the Jews.

Not to illegal immigration in general, just to Hispanics. Paul doesn’t understand that there are those-such as the ones he was speaking to, that want the borders erased, that want to turn America into the mythical empire of Aztlan, that believe this land was stolen from them-that know Mexico is spiraling into a failed narco state and the United States may be their only chance of preserving a nation. They’ll have to move that nation North to do it though, and Paul is okay with that. He talks about troops on the border, but doesn’t want to invest any money to make it happen. So it’ll never happen. Without a super super majority in Congress, none of his other stated positions will be implemented either.

Ron Paul fails to see emergencies that are right in front of him. Illegal immigration is out of control. Half assed measures will get half assed results. It’s too bad that things have been allowed to get this bad, but they have, and now it will take extreme measures-at least for the foreseeable future, to fix the mess. with Ron Paul, we would get nothing. I take that back, with Ron Paul we would get an open border, a nuclear armed Iran, and his blessings as cheap garbage from China floods the country. He was pretty clear about all those things on the campaign trail and in debates. Or am I just looking for a scapegoat, Ron?

I know there are many out there that like what Paul has to say on many issues, especially constitutionally, but look at the broader picture. Do you really want this guy in the White House?

I ask again, as have many others during this primary campaign: How the hell does Newt Gingrich end up as a contender? The man lies, he’s erratic, and of the four contenders left, he is by far the most anti-American candidate. If anyone thinks there is any credence to the North American Union need only to look at the position of Newt Gingrich on illegal immigration and see, like Jimmy Carter, like Bush 1, like Bill Clinton, like W, and now like Obama, Newt has no interest in securing our border, and thus our sovereignty.

Literally hours after offering amnesty to illegal aliens that served in the military, Newt took his open borders stance one step further on Wednesday. In an interview with Jorge reconquista Ramos of Univision, Gingrich proposed that after the military amnesty, that there should be a guest worker program to let everyone else stay. And I mean everyone.

“With most of them? I would urge them to get a guest-worker permit,” he said, calling for a substantial rewrite of immigration laws that would cancel existing penalties and instead let illegal immigrants stay.

The real Newt Gingrich couldn’t hide forever. He’s been open borders his entire career, so the get tough rhetoric in regards to securing the border never held water with those that know him. And I know him. So here’s how Newt will deal with immigration. For those that have been here a number of years-those identity stealers that managed to stay under the radar, they get to stay. If they join the military-presuming they actually speak English and would understand critical orders on the battlefield-they can stay. And for anybody that doesn’t fall into either of those categories, he proposes a guest worker program. That covers everyone, and under a Gingrich presidency, no illegal alien will have to leave. They can stay, have families-become part of the community, and eventually fall into one of the aforementioned amnesty groups.

Does Newt know something we don’t? Is he trying to siphon the illegal alien voter block being assembled by Obama’s ACORN goons? Don’t put it past him. The very fact that Gingrich’s immigration policy is undiscernable from Barack Obama’s should be cause for alarm to even the most ardent Gingrich supporter.

It looks as if the brain warp that inflicts the voters of South Carolina is infecting the rest of the country. New polls show Newt Gingrich as the GOP frontrunner for the nomination and the critical task of removing Barack Obama from the White House. That fact bodes ill for the country-unless you happen to be an illegal alien. Then things are looking rosy no matter which of them ends up as president after November.

Newt’s sob story about the illegal alien that has been sucking up resources in the United States for 25 years apparently isn’t hurting his campaign. If you recall, during a debate he said that an identity stealing criminal that managed to not get deported for decades should be able to stay in the United States, along with the family that he created while here. On Monday, he took it a step further.

Newt Gingrich has his own version of the DREAM Act. If an illegal alien is willing to serve the country in uniform, Newt Gingrich would grant them citizenship. I’ve postulated before that the dramatic increase and pandering to illegal aliens was an effort to literally import an army that will be able to stand up to China in the years ahead. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when, and when that day comes, America is likely to be full of retired baby boomers and hurting for military personnel. Enter the illegal alien. With the numbers of illegal youth pouring into this country and the corresponding birth rates, they will have the manpower to face down a million man Chinese army in the coming decades. It’s just a theory that would be panned by many I’m sure, because most people aren’t thinking decades ahead. You can be sure an empire like the United States thinks decades into the future.

On the other hand, this could just be Newt looking at the cheap labor demographics change, and he’s just taking advantage. He’ll be long gone by the time America turns into a third world cesspool. Newt claims he’ll get tough on the border now, but his words this very campaign say something very different. So far, he’s give two separate scenarios where he would give amnesty. Can you articulate his position on securing the border and making sure illegal aliens will not take the jobs that Americans actually will do? He has no border plan, and wants to outsource E-Verify to Visa. Of course, if Newt was president, illegal aliens just might come out of the shadows, because amnesty and all the benefits of being an American citizen would await them.

It’s the same story with Newt, the same one he’s been telling for years. Just get here, and you’re in. Whoever you are, Newt will find a category in which to give you amnesty. And what about the families of these individuals? Newt already said he didn’t want to break up families. And if they happen to have had at least one child in the United States, they aren’t going anywhere anyway.

Yet Newt surges in the polls. Are those polls accurate? They seemed to be in South Carolina. Are Mitt, Rick and Ron so bad that only Newt is fit to face Obama? I would take any of those three over Newt in a heartbeat. I don’t think Obama feels the same way, which is why I questioned the poll numbers. If it was Obama/Gingrich, Obama would have another four years. He would be their dream opponent, considering the massive baggage he carries around. It would be a nightmare for the rest of us-unless of course, you happen to be an illegal alien…

I’ve talked before about how Barack Obama is depending on the illegal alien vote in critical swing states this November. Now, in an apparently legal move, he’s going to guarantee that those votes will be there. We’ve heard time and time again from many Americans, just enforce the existing laws. Not only is Obama not enforcing existing laws, now, he’s weakening those laws in a bid to have four more years carnage to wreak on the United States. Obama is depending on the saps that call themselves Hispanics to once again cast votes for him. He will probably succeed in that goal with this latest scheme.

Under current law, if an illegal aien is up for deportation, they can file for a hardship waiver, that would allow them to return to the United States if their deportation would cause undue hardship on the American family members left behind. But they must return to their home country first to file for this waiver.

Not for long though. The Obama regime has proposed that illegal aliens being deported can now file for that waiver while still in the United States. Of course, the illegal alien will still have to leave the country while the waiver is being processed and approved, but in most cases they don’t have to go very far. Most of the applicants for this kind of hardship waiver are Mexican nationals, and they just head across the border to cities such as Ciudad Juarez and wait for the Okay to come back, with is in the affirmatice 70 percent of the time.

Currently, this process takes months, but under the Obama proposal, the waiver could come down in a matter of days. So the illegal alien that stole an identity and got him or herself and American job in construction, hospitality, restaurants, or any number of other jobs that Americans will do, can come right back and pick up where they left off. It is a form of amnesty, considering that a deported illegal alien is normally barred from returning to the United States in any capacity for three to 10 years. Not with a hardship waiver though, and if Obama implements this scheme, those illegal aliens will be back in the United States and back on and American job within days.

As if those potential thousands of votes weren’t enough, Janet the mauler Napolitano has announced that upwards of 300,000 pending deportations are now on hold, so the regime can ostensibly focus on more dangerous foreign criminals. Remember, this is the same regime that shipped automatic weapons to vicious Mexican drug cartels, and laundered their drug money to boot.

A search of this blog will net many instances of the Obama regime’s failure to not only secure the border, but to block individual states from protecting themselves from the onslaught of illegal immigration being facilited by the regime. I have to say it again: When you see the poll numbers showing Obama on the ropes, keep in mind that those numbers do not include illegal aliens voting, perhaps multiple times, ACORN, union thuggery, and maybe even Black Panther shenanigans going on at polling stations. That witches brew will bring in illegitimate votes for Obama, so if he doesn’t get his ass kicked in November, then he’ll probably be able to pull out a close vote. It’s hard to beat someone who’s cheating. And Obama is brazenly cheating with this move. God help us if it works out for him.

With 2012 voter registration ramping up, the fact is, illegal aliens play a bigger role in America’s elections than most would want to admit. The primary beneficiaries of such fraud is almost always Democrats. With promises of amnesty and freebies courtesy the American taxpayer, Barack Obama is going to make darn sure those potential voters remain in the country.

The Obama regime claims that they’ve deported more than 400,000 illegal aliens, more than any president in history. If you believe those numbers, keep in mind that we have only the word of Obama, Eric Holder, and Janet Napolitano. Still believe those numbers? The GAO confirms that only six percent of the border is actually secure. Now we have word the Obama regime may be working with the Sinaloa drug cartel, a cartel that is so violent they make the Wild West look like a monastery. States are under attack from the Justice Department for daring to pass laws to battle the flood of illegal aliens that strain resources to the breaking point. Border patrol agents are now being ordered to shoo illegal aliens back across the border rather than arrest them. ICE agents are under such strangulating restrictions that an illegal alien would literally have to walk up and shoot somebody in the face in order to be arrested. Even then, ICE agents would have to check their manuals to see if that was an arrestable offense. Illegal aliens are being educated on the taxpayer dime as the Obama regime turns a blind eye. We just saw in Arizona what kind of education they’re getting. Police departments around the country are being barred from even inquiring about immigration status. Non-licensed illegal alien drivers are now allowed to keep their cars, because to impound them would be too much of a hardship for them. Now Obama wants to spring illegal aliens from jail for crimes over and above crossing the border. Illegal aliens can now call and inquire about a potential get out of jail free card, courtesy the Obama regime.

ICE has a new hotline that jailed illegal aliens can call to get what ICE describes as help.

The hotline, run by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, is available 24/7 for detained individuals to phone if they think they “may be U.S. citizens or victims of a crime.

Did you ever wonder if you were an American citizen? Of course, if you’re walking around with multiple identities, you may have to ask. And if you think Sheriff Joe has done you wrong, well, just give ICE a call.

They want illegal aliens to be made aware of their rights. The only rights they have is what has been bestowed upon them, independent of the law. Obama has given them a few more, and the only thing he asks is to check off his name in 2012.

I was not aware of illegal aliens not having representation in a court of law. Not only has the benefit of having a public defender been bestowed upon them, there are many private groups who offer their services as well. Some of those groups actually receive federal funding for their operations. Yes, if the feds-or anyone else arrests an illegal alien, the government will turn around and fund their defense.

The Democrats could have easily passed an amnesty in 2008-2010, but the fact is, there may not have been enough votes to make it worth their while. As it stands now, illegal aliens continue to spill over the border, and when amnesty eventually is granted, there will be that many more Democratic voters. Until then, massive vote fraud will continue, and although very effective at the local level, there still isn’t enough to sway a presidential election permanently. That day is coming though, and Obama has put yet another nail into the coffin of America. Now, merely arresting an illegal alien, by design or by happenstance may bring the scrutiny of the Justice Department down on that particular law enforcement agency. Make no mistake, this is all about intimidation, and we only have to look at the attack on Joe Arpaio to see how that intimidation would play out. Many law enforcement agencies will just fold and not go after illegals, with the specter of federal scrutiny, and even criminal charges possible with nothing more than a sob story from an illegal alien as a catalyst.

The good news is that the White House, the Justice Department, and the Department of Homeland Security all changes with a new administration. Four more years of this regime-a second term with no worries about reelection, and this country is toast. Number one issue. It affects sovereignty, the economy, what politicians will be representing us (we already see that), crime, education, and as we saw in Arizona, history could be rewritten as well.

The polls (the real ones) show Obama trailing a generic Republican opponent. They show him losing to a guy like Mitt Romney. Keep in mind though, those numbers don’t reflect these folks. Those numbers are much closer when you include illegal alien voters, many who do not speak English, and some who have no problem voting more than once. Let us not forget the offspring who tend to vote the same as mom and dad. Consider any victory over Obama a landslide, because he’s going to cheat. And with ACORN and the unions backing him up, he has a good chance of winning no matter how unpopular he is.

As the debate rages over Romney’s hair, and Newt Gingrich’s arrest the judges scheme, and Ron Paul’s racist newsletters, America itself is being chipped away piece by piece. When Americans wake up one day and wonder where their country went, they need only look to this blog and a handful of others who documented the demise as it happened.

The late, great state of California has done it again. That is, they’ve delivered another blow to the sovereignty of not only the state, but the nation as well. Previously, unlicensed drivers stopped at sobriety checkpoints had their car impounded. No license, you can’t drive. The new law, introduced by one bill Gil Cedillo (guess that makes him two bill Gil now), prohibits the impounding of cars solely because the driver is unlicensed. Cedillo, a Mexican agent in the California legislature, has had a single minded purpose for years to get driver’s licenses for illegal aliens. He was unsuccessful at that, but now, illegal aliens won’t even need a license, at least to drive.

The cat-and-mouse game ends Jan. 1 when a new law takes effect in California to prohibit police from impounding cars at sobriety checkpoints if a motorist’s only offense is being an unlicensed driver. Thousands of cars are towed each year in the state under those circumstances, hitting pocketbooks of illegal immigrants especially hard.

No, this law was not intended for American citizens at all. This law will allow illegal aliens to drive and continue to work with impunity in California. Remember, illegal aliens can also attend college-on the taxpayer dime, and when-and if they’re ready to look for a job, well E-Verify has been banned in the state.

Police are not allowed to question the immigration status of suspected illegal aliens. Neither can landlords when renting a property. Sanctuary cities in the state actually advertise in an effort to attract illegal aliens. The cost of illegal immigration is costing the state upwards of $10 billion per year. Mexican drug cartels run rampant, even buying off whole towns in order to have a “legitimate” place to launder their drug profits. Other gangs from South of the border swamp the state. Numerous politicians at the state and federal level are reconquistas who believe the American Southwest is part of a mythical kingdom known as Aztlan, and belongs to Mexico. And now we have this: Dont’ ask, don’t tell, don’t confiscate.

We can talk about 2012 all we want. Great. California and its 55 electoral votes are already in the bag for Obama. He doesn’t even need to campaign here. The only reason he comes to California is to fund raise. As Texas and Florida continue to be swamped by illegal aliens, so goes another 67 electoral votes. Throw in New York and the newest sanctuary for illegals, Illinois, and those that would fundamentally transform this country into something unrecognizably third world have 171 electoral votes literally without lifting a finger. Just looking at the electoral map, if the Republicans lose Texas and Florida, I can’t see where they would win another presidential election-ever.

So far, all I’ve heard from the candidates is the same tough talk with a dab of amnesty line that means nothing if their records are any indicator. Although, Mitt did say he would deport Obama’s drunken uncle. That would be symbolic Mitt. Start there and work your way West. Because illegal aliens are voting, and they traditionally vote for the party that gives away the most taxpayer funded goodies. That would be the Democrats. Don’t forget the children who are coming of voting age and feel the same way their parents do.

I laid out the numbers. If something radical and drastic is not done this cycle…maybe the next, we’re through.

The state of South Carolina is in play for Barack Obama in 2012. This might not be the case under ordinary circumstances, but currently, America is far from ordinary. In fact, I could argue that America isn’t 100 percent, especially when it comes to elections. An activist district court judge is making sure it stays that way.

As with Arizona, and Alabama, and Georgia, and Utah and various cities across the United States, South Carolina’s tough new immigration law has been gutted by yet another activist judge. U.S. District Judge Dick Gergel blocked parts of law, citing the federal government’s exclusive constitutional authority over immigration matters. Never mind this hack contradicted himself when he didn’t throw out the entire law. After all, if the feds have exclusive authority, then no part of the law would be valid, would it?

What the judge blocked is coincidentally the parts that would put an illegal alien voter in jeopardy. Gergel unilaterally ruled that South Carolina law enforcement could not require police officers to check the immigration status of those they stop for other violations, even if they have reasonable suspicion. That’s funny, because that part of the Alabama law was left intact. Not so for South Carolina. Also, harboring or transporting an illegal alien would have been a felony under the law. Not anymore. Nor is the requirement that immigrants carry federal alien registration documents. You got that right, don’t ask, don’t tell.

Gergel then contradicted himself once again can came up with yet another reason why South Carolina couldn’t protect itself from the onslaught of illegal immigration. He said the law would cause irreparable harm to U.S. foreign policy and relations. Well, I thought it was all about constitutional authority? All of a sudden it’s about pissing off Mexico. You would think after Fast and Furious that Mexico would be pissed off already. Well, maybe this is a gesture by the Obama regime to smooth things over.

So once again the Justice Department was successful in showing states that they have no power at all under an Obama rulership. This guy Gergel is obviously an Obama disciple-Well, what do you know?

On December 22, 2009, President Obama nominated Gergel to serve on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, to fill the seat vacated by Judge Henry Michael Herlong, Jr., who assumed senior status on June 1, 2009.

He’s obviously doing what he’s told, even using the same arguments of other judges who have blocked similar immigration laws in other states. It’s almost as if they’re reading from the same script. My guess it that they are reading from the same script, and it’s being provided by the Justice Department.

There are at least five states right here where illegal aliens, unions and ACORN are forming an unholy trinity in an effort to get Barack Obama reelected. In the meantime, the rest of America is suffering from the cost, the lost national unity, and the shifting political leaning to the left, that once there, will likely never be reversed. And it’s all being done by lying, cheating and conniving. For the Obama regime and the Justice Department, the end justifies the means. Brian Terry would agree. I don’t know what’s worse with these pack of scum, the end, or the means. In either case, it leaves a scar across America that will never completely heal.

Open borders. One world government. Social justice. Reconquista.. Fraudulent voters. Most likely an obscene combination of all of those things. America’s borders are all but non-existent, and if a border jumper happens to stake their claim in this country, they have the full protection of Barack Obama’s Justice Department. Of course, they’ll have to run the gauntlet of Ak-47′s that the JD has supplied to the Mexican drug cartels, but if they can traverse that, they suddenly will be protected by the very same department that has facilitated a slaughterfest of their countrymen.

Arizona was the first to be bludgeoned by Barack Obama’s Justice Department by daring to try and protect themselves. No sooner was SB 1070 passed in that state that Eric Holder sent in his goons to stop the law from taking effect. With the help of an activist judge, he was successful. In a preview of what we can expect in 2012, the architect of SB 1070 Russell Pearce, was recalled in a district where he <del datetime="2011-11-25T07:10:44+00:00">was</del> is very popular. It was an open recall, and Democrats, union thugs, ACORN and more than a few English as a second language citizens cast their votes and had Pearce removed. Of course, the petitions themselves had serious issues of viability, but…those activist judges. I’ve just glossed the surface on the kind of beating Arizona has taken.

Georgia came up with their own version of SB 1070, but again, the JD had an activist-or an on the payroll judge gut that law as well. To add insult to injury, Major League Baseball honored scumbag racist Carlos Santana at the annual Civil Rights game in Atlanta, and instead of Santana graciously accepting his award and saving his hate for another day, he tore into Georgians with a rant that could only be described as reconquista chic.

Alabama then came up with an even better law-not that SB 1070 was bad; Alabama’s was just better. Holder sent in his thugs there as well, although that law withstood a court challenge better than the Arizona legislation. It probably was better written than SB 1070. They learned from any mistakes Arizona may have made. Nevertheless, the law was truncated, and is not in full force. South Carolina suffered the same fate as Arizona and Alabama, and they all have various anti-American illegal alien advocate groups trying to provoke an uprising. They even had the likes of Luis Gutierrez, an alleged American representative showing his true racist colors by stirring up hate with protests in those states.

Now the Justice Department have turned their guns (pun intended) on the state of Utah. HB 497, a fairly watered down immigration bill is being opposed by the JD. It essentially mirrors federal immigration law, but it gives the state the power to enforce those laws. The argument in Utah is the same as it was in the previous three states. Immigration falls under federal authority and states do not have the right to enforce anything. Yes, the ability of the United States to enforce existing immigration law is not only available, but attempting to be implemented by these four states, the latest being Utah. Eric Holder and the Justice Department do not want these laws enforced. Need anymore proof? Utah also passed HB 116, which would offer a guest worker plan to illegal aliens in the state. How that squares with HB 497 is beyond me, but both have been signed into law. However, the Justice Department has decided not to challenge Utah on HB 116, which-by their own words is pre-empted by federal law. They just aren’t going to do it.

In a statement, DOJ acknowledged that the guest worker provisions are “clearly preempted by federal law,” but said it would not pursue legal action because the department is engaging in “constructive conversations” with Utah about the law.

I’ve said before that an illegal alien on the path to citizenship won’t do Barack Obama any good in 2012. They won’t be able to vote while on that path, and they’ll be potentially identifiable if they try. On the other hand, they can vote with impunity now, since they can use anybody’s ID, or in some districts, no ID at all.

The next time you hear jack asses like Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry talking about a pathway to citizenship, just keep in mind how fuzzy that border is, and how many citizens with allegiance to another country are already here. Guys like Gingrich have the same position as Barack Obama. George Bush did too. So did Bill Clinton. The issue didn’t really come up with Bush 1, because, in a moment of naivete’, Ronald Reagan granted amnesty when the problem was much less severe, with the understanding that the borders would be secured after that. Well, we know the borders were never secured, and subsequent presidents either did nothing about it, or made it worse by pandering to those that traversed the pourous border. Is it any wonder we have the problem we have now? Compound that with the anchor baby debacle and we have another country-overwhelmingly Mexico, being poured on top of the United States.

I don’t have much faith that any candidate will do much to address the immigration problem. We have arrived at the point where politicans see illegal aliens as a voting block too valuable to ignore. I don’t really get the population shift thing. Unless the idea is to turn North Amnerica into a region, as opposed to separate countries, open borders makes no sense. At least five states are putting up a fight. They’re losing because they play by the rules, but at least they’re putting up the good fight.

He should have learned a lesson from Rick Perry, but Newt Gingrich has been prone to imploding over the years, and even in this primary campaign. Gingrich has a real Achille’s heel when it comes to immigration. I have to hand it to him for sticking to his guns on the issue, but unfortunately, those guns are aimed at the heart of the United States.

Just hours after reconquista Luis Gutierrez and the National Council of La Raza launched a tirade against Alabama’s stellar new immigration law, Republican presidential hopefuls took to the stage to debate foreign policy issues, including immigration. Flavor of the week Newt Gingrich continued to espouse his tough amnesty position. His manic policy would deport those who have been here less than three years, but offer amnesty for those that managed to evade the law longer than that. He gave the stock left wing sob story of proverbial “good folk” that just came here to work, and has raised a family and established a life in the United States. He failed to mention whether his mythical illegal alien was a cartel member, an identity thief, or even if they had an allegiance to the United States. For Newt, it was all about destroying families. Gingrich was careful to steer clear of inflammatory statements like calling people heartless for wanting secure borders. Well, maybe he did learn something from Rick Perry.

Not enough though. He’s a DREAM Act supporter. Mitt Romney tore into him on that-among other things. Romney alluded to the magnet created with deals like the DREAM Act. Sneak in, jump through a few hoops, and you’re legal. Ron Paul has talked about cutting off the magnets in the past, but the linked article doesn’t mention his position. Pretty reasonable, although he doesn’t think a fence will do any good. I think he’s wrong there and a few other areas, but in general, Paul has it right on the border. As far as Cain…who the hell knows. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have a position at all.

Rick Perry does though. While handing out cut rate education and jobs to every illegal alien he sees, he also claims he’ll secure the border within 12 months of taking office. I have some swampland in Florida for sale if you believe that. In fact, Perry is calling for possible military action to defend Mexico. He called for a 21st century Monroe Doctrine to make sure enemy countries don’t infiltrate Mexico and ultimately, the United States. Too late Rick, that country belongs to the cartels, and they deal with the worst of the worst. I’m all for putting the army on the border though. Perry wasn’t detailed on his scheme, but he sure sounded like he wants to commit troops into Mexico. Our friends to the South have already said hell no to that idea Rick.

We know what Newt Gingrich will bring to the table as far as immigration, and we can expect much of the same from Rick Perry. This issue alone disqualifies them both, although there is plenty more that would sink Gingrich. It’s looking more and more like establishment Mitt Romney will be last flip-flopper standing. If that’s the choice, I’ll hold my nose and take him over Gingrich, and certainly over Barack Obama. If we need any more proof that this isn’t a perfect world, we need only look at the Republican presidential candidates.

Since the law means nothing to illegal aliens-at least as far as the United States is concerned, it comes as no surprise that advocates for border jumpers would come up with their own decrees, which have nothing to do with American law-or any law for that matter. The march towards reconquista is making a turn towards Alabama, with a short stop in South Carolina, and it’s being led by the usual suspects.

Luis Gutierrez (D-Il), a Mexican agent who’s seething hatred for the United States is impossible to hide is trolling down to Alabama to…get this: Try and convince someone to have HB 56 revoked. You saw that right. To have someone or some thing unilaterally revoke a law. You can’t make this up. Of course, he’s from Illinois, and they do things a little differently there. Of their last eight governors, four went to prison. Chicago style. Encouraged by Barack Obama’s intention to go around Congress, and his neutering of ICE agents, Gutierrez figures he can take a shot steamrolling the will of the people in Alabama. I’ve haven’t heard anything about the massive rally that was supposed to coincide with his visit, so my guess it was a flop. He won’t stop trying though.

Remember, it was Gutierrez that came up with an <del datetime="2011-11-22T02:02:50+00:00">immigration</del> amnesty bill so ridiculous that it would legalize virtually everyone coming across the border and eliminate <del datetime="2011-11-22T02:02:50+00:00">virtually</del> all law enforcement in regards to immigration. Just reading it made me wonder if it was joke. It was no joke. To this day, reconquistas, including those in the racist Latino caucus wonder why the bill never even made it to Obama’s desk. They certainly had the votes to pass it at the time. Luis, have you heard the term useful idiot? That’s what you are and you’re trying to take an entire race with you.

In a coordinated attack, the National Council of La Raza (NCLR) is protesting in front of the White House at the same time. Now, they know that amnesty has no chance in this Congress. What are they trying to do? The gun running Justice Department has already sued both South Carolina and Alabama. We go back to revoking the law. They want Obama to decree a law null and void. And why not? Obama has already indicated he would dictate by decree. What these morons apparently don’t realize is that Obama can’t, as much as he would like to. He’s got the laws tied up in court though. They’re much weaker than they should be at this time. But the NCLR and Gutierrez have their marching orders from Mexico City: Keep pushing.

So while we talk about the budget, jobs, Solyndra and all that-important things to be sure, we can’t forget that these people never rest. They want that border open and they have no other goal. For those of you that catapulted Newt pathway to citizenship Gingrich to the top of the polls, check out Gutierrez and la raza and find out who would benefit from such a scheme. Check out the slimy Hispanic caucus. Check out the fluff piece in that above Alabama link (just there for reference folks) You might rethink your position on immigration all together. But if we keep going the direction we’re going, amnesty or not, one of these days we’re going to see a president Gutierrez. Again, I encourage you to check out him and his cabal of reconquistas. They are not looking for the American dream.
