Lost in the historic pounding delivered to the Obama agenda on Tuesday were some local measures that would make another day like that unlikely in the future. A measure on the ballot in Portland, Maine would have given legal non-citizens to vote in local elections there. It went down to defeat 51.5% to 48.5%. The results were much closer than they should have been. The difference was less than a thousand votes. This time around, the measure failed. You can be sure that it will be back though.

San Francisco (of course) had their own measure. The illegal alien sanctuary city had a measure that would have allowed non-citizens to vote in school board elections. Stunningly, it did not get a majority of votes and was defeated. We see that even in liberal San Francisco that there are at least some that have their head screwed on straight. Not many though.

This isn’t the first time that such measures have been on local ballots. New York state, Minnesota, Texas, Washington D.C., and Arlington Virginia all have had similar measures defeated. We can postulate the consequences of such a bill passing. Assuming that it is constitutional, and I’m not sure that it is, a place like Minnesota, with a growing Muslim population could conceivably elect their own to positions of power. It may be the catapult they need to launch onto the national stage. We know the Keith Ellison, a Muslim is already a representative from Minnesota, in a heavily Muslim district. To have that kind of influence trolling the halls of congress would make the current liberal makeup look very tame. CAIR would tell you.

We can hammer our elected representatives on national issues, but for local events, we can only sit and watch, hoping that the locals come through for the sake of America. They did this time, but for how much longer? As immigration, legal and illegal continues to explode, it may only be a matter of time before towns and cities begin to fall. That is unless our representatives start defending the constitution like they’re supposed to.

California’s 47th congressional district is up for grabs this campaign season, with challenger Van Tran now pulling even with scumbag racist Loretta Sanchez in a recent poll. Her racist rant on Univision apparently had just the opposite effect she was hoping for. It appears that the fire of racism that burns so deeply inside her is not shared by many in that district.

Make no mistake about it though, there is a racial divide among voters. Latinos lean heavily towards Sanchez, while Tran has virtually all the Vietnamese vote. In CA 47 there is a significant Vietnamese community. Sure, there are those that will vote for Tran based solely on his race. At the same time, why would any Vietnamese vote for Sanchez? After her derogatory remarks aimed at entire community, she surely has lost any chance to get some of that demographic on her side.

What she has to hope for now is that Latino’s show up in large numbers, and that includes illegal aliens. Yes, that’s how she won the seat in the first place. Bob Dornan will confirm that for you. He was the poor sap that lost the seat due to fraudulent illegal alien votes for Sanchez.

For Sanchez though, there was nothing illegal about it. She feels that the district belongs to Latinos, and she stated as such during the Univison interview. In fact, her and her fellow racists in the Latino caucus in Washington think the entire American Southwest belongs to them. She didn’t feel like she was breaking the law with illegal alien votes. It is you who are breaking the law invading the land of La Raza.

This is a chance to Send Loretta Sanchez packing. The last thing a dysfunctional congress needs is a race baiting piece of garbage like Loretta Sanchez. Even if she is toppled though, there are many well funded ethno-centric groups that would love to have her at their disposal.

If Van Tran indeed does win, you can be sure that he will have Latino hate groups nipping at his heels the entire time he is in congress. Sanchez and her ilk will feel cheated, humiliated, and they will be enraged. Full of hatred and enraged. That’s the kind of opposition Van Tran will have to face if he wins. Stand tall Van, you have allies.

This time though, it was for less nefarious reasons. Still, it’s too bad that the upstart citizen won’t be able to make his mark on the senate-for now.

Doug Hoffman, the conservative concerned citizen from New York’s 23rd district has dropped out of the race for the senate. He lost in the primary to Republican Matt Doheny, but at the time vowed to stay in the race.

With shades of last year on his mind though, he ultimately decided against it. For those who don’t remember, there was an election last year when Republican John McHugh folded and went to work for the Obama regime. That left the seat for NY-23 open in the senate, and both Hoffman and RINO Dede Scozzafava vied for it. Democrat back stabber Bill Owens was the the Obama stooge in the race.

Hoffman pounded Scozzafava in the polls, despite no Republican support. In fact, the Repubicans (no, I did not spell that wrong) backed Scozzafava. It didn’t help. Scozzafava was forced to drop out of race. Instead of throwing her support behind the one conservative in the race though, she chose to back Bill Owens, who later went on to vote yes on the health care bill.

Hoffman ultimately lost the race, with no Republican support and voting irregularities abounding. He vowed to come back though, and he did. But there was no Republican support this time either. Instead of staying in and splitting the vote, as RINO’s around the country are doing, Hoffman decided to drop out and give his support to Doheny. The alternative was to give Bill Owens a six-year pass to the senate.

Hoffman doesn’t see Doheny as an ideal candidate, but at the same time, he’s a much better choice than Bill Owens. And that’s what it’s all about. The seat is winnable, but conservatives must stick together to do it. That is not what happened last year, and Scozzafava and the buffoons that run the Republican party basically handed a senate seat to the Democrats. Hoffman is making sure that doesn’t happen this year.

The lesser of two evils? Maybe, but at the same time, it is the lesser. We already have seen what Bill Owens has done in the senate. Time for him to go. But with voting irregularities the norm in NY-23, even a legitimate victory by Doheny may not be recognized. Now we hear that some New York districts have failed to mail out ballots to our fighting servicemen, and their votes may not be counted in November. That would include NY-23. Hmmm. What do you think our fighting men and women think of the Obama agenda? Well, we won’t know this year in New York.

Doug Hoffman ultimately did the right thing. I would rather he be the senator instead of this establishment Doheny character, but Hoffman staying in the race would surely split the vote in what will be a tight race anyway. The Republicans will have no mercy from me. Whatever gains they make in November, they better put their money where their mouth is and come through. They can be replaced as fast as a Democrat. Stick around Doug, there may be a spot in Washington for you in the future. All you need is a little support.

Everybody knows who he is now. Are you listening Michael Steele? You need him a lot more than he needs you.

Conservative party candidate Doug Hoffman has made it official. He plans on running in New York’s 23rd district and he wants Bill Owens in the political octagon. He should have won last November, but the 1-2-3-4-5 combination of the Democrat/ACORN/union/rigged voting machines…and Republican opposition did him in. The only thing that will beat Hoffman this time is…the Republicans. If they decide to shoot themselves in the foot once again and go with somebody else, then that will drain votes from Hoffman.

Hoffman says he’s prepared to deal with the voting irregularities that occurred in the last election. If he is planning to have observers or something to make sure that the elections are not rigged-as they were in November, then he’s going to need a few bucks. That’s money that the GOP has. Will they fork it over to Hoffman? He will beat Owens. What’s it worth to the GOP? After the last disaster of putting all their weight behind Dede Scozzafava, a closet Democrat that took GOP money and then turned on the party, diving headlong into the chicanery that came to define that race. Rigged machines, uncounted votes, questionable votes that were allegedly counted could all be addressed with a little help from the RINO’s that currently run the party.

Hoffman can’t expect the help though. There’s a good chance he’ll be on his own again, and if that’s the case, it will take the people’s money to pull him through. Even if you don’t live in the district, a seat is a seat, and we know where Hoffman stands. I thought Joe Wilson was worth a few bucks as well. Every senate seat we can get means that Obama will have to resort to plan B to get his agenda through. If he can be blocked at the legislative level, then whatever he does may be undone, hopefully without too much of a mess.

We know that Obama can use executive orders, appointments and other tools to ram his agenda through, but in the case of something like health care, he must go through congress. He won’t get through Doug Hoffman. In contrast, Obama flattened Bill Owens like a rolling pin. The same thing he would have done with his RINO pal Scozzafava.

A vote for Hoffman is a vote against the Obama agenda. I’m firing off a letter to Michael Steele personally to see exactly what his agenda is.

Things have not improved for Democrats since the November elections. This seat is for the taking, and it will interesting to see if the GOP backs Hoffman, or once again attempts to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If this guy is anything like his sister-and he is following in her footsteps, Louisiana is in for another storm.

In the deliverance world of Louisiana politics, New Orleans voted in their new mayor among the hoopla of the Saints’ Superbowl victory. Mitch Landrieu, the brother of sellout senator Mary landfill Landrieu, won in a landslide, despite the presence of 11 candidates.

It was a natural progression for Landrieu, who served 16 years in the state legislature in seat that had formerly been occupied by his sister and father. Now he becomes the mayor of New Orleans, giving up his role as Lt. Governor. He went for the seat four years ago, but was narrowly defeated by Ray Nagin, who made ridiculous promises that he couldn’t possibly keep. And he did not keep those promises either. I remember there were some decent sounding candidates debating in the run. Of course they were debating reality, and Nagin was in the clouds somewhere. Landrieu didn’t impress me at the time either. Times change though.

As if it makes any difference, this will be the first time whitey has held the office in 30 years. His victory garnered support across racial lines, and it appears that the people of New Orleans chose a candidate this time, not a color, as they did with Ray chocolate city Nagin. It remains to be seen if Landrieu is just a clone of his sister, or the real deal. He picked a hell of job being mayor of a devastated city. Can he make headway with the inherent problems in that city, problems that existed even before Hurricane Katrina? Can he tackle the corruption, the poverty, the rebuilding?

There’s no way to tell, but you can be sure that Mary will be tugging on Obama’s coattails in order to get a few more bucks to make her brother look good. Fine. In fact, if he turns out to be even half-way decent, maybe he can take the place of his good for nothing sister. Again, I don’t want to condemn the man because he happens to be related to someone of dubious morals, but it just seems to me like that city, that state needs some new blood, not the same names over and over. I don’t live in Louisiana, but have you heard of any great things that Mitch Landrieu has done for the state? Neither have I.

Apparently, the Democratic machine in Massachusetts wouldn’t dare tamper with those voting machines. There was no way they could fake this.

It’s official. Martha Coakley quit at about the 75% point and conceded the Massachusetts special senate election to Scott Brown. it looks like a landslide, and in fact, looked like a landslide even before today.

If you ask Massachusetts voters, and Fox News did, this election wasn’t really about how bad a campaigner Martha Coakley was (although that must have had an impact), but it was more about the Democratic agenda, and specifically the health care debacle winding its slimy way through congress. Poll after poll showed that the American people were not on board with the Democratic plan, and the fact that the people were ignored just angered the voters and tonight, Scott Brown was the beneficiary of that voter discontent.

When Barack Obama was installed as President of the United States, he had a huge congressional majority to work with. What he (his administration) didn’t count on was that unlike so many other times in American history, this time, the people were paying attention. Obama thought that he could do what he wanted and in fact said time and time again to get out of the way if you weren’t on board with his agenda. He must have forgotten that nearly half the country did not vote for him and were not on board. The bribes, the back room deals, the unpopular agenda, the reckless spending, all against the will of the American people showed not only tonight how angry the voters are, but it’s the same wave of discontent that was in New Jersey and Virginia. If not for a rigged election in New York, the will of the people would have been felt there as well. Stay tuned for November on that one.

America has awakened. If you don’t believe that, just take a look at a deep blue Massachusetts. Many of those voters were voting against the Obama agenda, not necessarily for Scott Brown. There’s a big difference. Massachusetts is still blue, and will remain so. Not even they though, want this Marxist agenda shoved down their throat. If this doesn’t speak to the radical agenda currently in action in Washington, then there is no such concept. Hey Barry, the voters have paved the road with Martha Coakley, and Scott Brown drove his truck right over her. Congratulations Scott. Get ready though, Obama has already stated that he plans to ram-rod his agenda irregardless of what the Massachusetts outcome was. He doesn’t care what the American people think. You’ve been elected to remind him.

Remember those rigged voting machines in New York that cost Doug Hoffman the election in November? Yeah, well…welcome to Massachusetts.

The idea that the possibility that a Republican could actually take the senate seat that was held for so long by Ted Kennedy in Massachusetts is exciting, if not historical. Some polls show Republican Scott Brown leading Democrat hack Martha Coakley just hours from the election. A cloud hangs over this election though, and it’s not the first cloud, and more than likely won’t be the last. The voting machines that will be used on Tuesday will be provided primarily by Diebold, a company with a history of scandal plagued machines. What they don’t provide will be covered by Sequoia, the same company that provided the rigged machines in New York’s ill-fated 23rd district election. In a close election, which this is likely to be, this doesn’t bode well for the Republican Brown. Doug Hoffman was the victim of rigged machines in New York, and the GOP did nothing as the bus rolled over him. Now Brown is in essentially the same position, with him not only facing the Democratic machine in Massachusetts, but the hackable machine(s) of Diebold.

You remember Diebold, don’t you? They have a history of providing machines of dubious quality, and it has been proved multiple times that their machines are easily hackable. In fact, these machines are in violation of federal standards, but for some reason…were never decertified. In fact, California dumped these machines after serious vulnerabilities were discovered, but Massachusetts did not.

Check the link regarding the machines that will be used on Tuesday. The article will knock your socks off. How this could be in the United States in 2010 is almost inconceivable. The other curious thing is why the GOP has nothing to say about these machines. Hmmm. These types of junk machines have already cost one senate seat, so you would think it would be in their interest to at least make a statement regarding the reliability of the machines, and to even question the questionable companies that service them. Not a word that I’m aware of.

Here are some possible scenarios, all based on the fact that these machines will be tallying the votes. If Brown comes up the winner on election day, Coakley may challenge the results, delaying his swearing in. In the meantime, the senate stand-in casts the 60th senate vote in favor of the upcoming health care bill. The other possible scenario is Coakley wins…and Brown challenges the results. Even if the results were overturned eventually, the recount would take time, and in the meantime…the same thing, health care passes. In fact, in a worst case scenario, this thing could drag out for months, as it did in Minnesota, before Al Franken was ultimately awarded the senate seat, and in that time frame scenario, Obama care, possibly an immigration reform bill, and even cap and trade could be passed.

Conspiracy? Wild speculation? We can only go with what we already know. We know that these machines are easily rigged and that fraud occurred just a few short months ago. Good luck Scott Brown. Hopefully we don’t have a repeat of Ny 23.

Looks like we could take a cue from the Honduran people. Despite tremendous pressure from the Obama regime, Honduras hung tough and gave the world a lesson in democracy.

Honduras just had a their presidential election, as promised by interim president Roberto Micheletti months ago. Conservative candidate Porfirio “Pepe” Lobo pounded the opposition, much to the chagrin of would-be despot Manuel Zelaya. Apparently, Barack Obama isn’t too pleased either.

The fact of the matter is, that there never was a coup as reported by the main stream media. Zelaya was legally removed from office after he violated the Honduran constitution by trying to have a (rigged) referendum that would extend his time in office. That is illegal in Honduras, and it was their Supreme Court that issued the order to have this chavez pimp removed from office. It was legal folks. What was illegal is the scheme Zelaya hatched to have a referendum to see if he could remain in office even longer than the constitution mandated, and with pre-printed votes already marked, the Venezuelan supplied voting machines would tally up the votes. In other words, he couldn’t lose. Either the machine was rigged, or the ballots were fraudulent.

These elections were free and fair. It remains to be seen whether Obama will now lift sanctions against that tiny country, or even recognize the election at all. We know that Venezuela, Cuba, and Brazil will not recognize it, and those three countries are fellow Obama Marxists. The problems for Honduras are not over, being that they are surrounded by hostile neighbors. This puts Obama between a rock and a hard place. He can refuse to recognize the will of the Honduran people in a free and fair democratic election, or he can risk alienating his Marxist buddies in South America by honoring the results. Either way he loses. Whatever he does, expect him to continue to undermine Honduras, much the way he has since Zelaya was kicked out of office. In the meantime, congratulations Honduras for standing tall while Marxist thugs from Washington to Venezuela were baring their teeth. What do you think folks? If tiny Honduras can give Obama a fat lip and take their country back with no help at all, what can 300 million people do?

Doug Hoffman is no political hack, and that was part of his appeal, but he has angered some, and disappointed others with this decision.

Despite evidence of missed votes and voter machine malfunctions and security breaches, Doug Hoffman has re-conceced New York’s 23rd District election. A recount may have proven him to be the winner, but instead the lying cheat Bill Owens, who broke four campaign promises as soon as he walked in the door, will remain in Congress for now. A late entry into the race, Hoffman made some mistakes, and up against a GOP/Democratic coalition, was knocked out. In his concession, he cited a costly and disruptive recount would not be in the best interests of NY23. It seems to me that it would be in the interest of the voters. He might actually be the winner. If the election night stories are as bad as they were reported to be, it would be in the interest of Hoffman’s, and the voters of NY23 to have a recount. He’s basically letting fraud go unpunished. Hoffman has other plans though.

Looking forward to 2010, Doug Hoffman will be able to enter the campaign with a full magazine, unlike this election where he entered late and had to contend with both Democrats and Republicans. This time, he expects to be well funded, and hopefully he will be able to tap those that have experience in running campaigns. RINO’s aside, there are those within the Republican party that support Hoffman, such as presidential candidate Fred Thompson. Maybe Fred could recommend some guys to help out Doug.

It seems to me, that with Dede Scozzafava out of the picture, and Bill OWens exposed as for the scumbag that he is, that 2010 is Doug Hoffman’s for the taking. He just needs a few pointers in running a campaign. Look what he did just walking in off the street. And that is literally what he did. Imagine if he had some pros backing him up. Until then though, Owens will remain a Pelosi rubber stamp, a fraud whose days are numbered.

And if they can rig this election, they can rig any election.

The election results for New York’s 23rd district looked funny from the start, and now we’re finding out that indeed, the results were not accurate. Dominion/Sequoia, a Venezuelan, Hugo Chavez controlled company, supplied the electronic voting machines that were used in NY23. It appeared that Democrat Bill Owens had somehow won the election, but with mounting evidence of voter fraud, Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman unconceded, and for good reason.

The Democratic Elections Commissioner in Hamilton County, Cathleen Rogers, is now admitting that a virus was found in the voting machines just a week before the elections. Dominion/Sequoia claims they resolved that problem in time for the vote. Maybe not. Rogers has no clue as what the company did to “fix” the machines, and is just taking their word that everything was okay. No other counties were informed of the virus problem either, so at this time it is not known if machines outside Hamilton country were infected as well. We can only speculate at this point.

These machines are a piece of work. Not only were they infected with a virus, but even when they were working as designed they were junk. Freeze ups, paper jams, and easy access for anybody that wanted to stuff the ballot box were some of the problems that make you sit back in disbelief that someone actively sought out these machines for the election. These machines are so poorly designed that they can be manually stuffed with ballots at a 10 to 1 ratio. That’s not all. There is also a USB port on the side. Geez, what could you do with that? Unbelievable. The machines were malfunctioning on election night as well. That prompted manual votes, and in some counties, Hoffman had a tally of 0 votes. Normal election night errors? Election night chaos? You be the judge.

This company has a history with junk voting machines. Dan Rather exposed them when their garbage was used in Florida.

The manufacturer of the machines, Dominion/Sequoia Voting Systems is the same company that Dan Rather accused of causing over 50,000 votes to go uncounted in the 2000 Presidential Election in Florida due to intentional oversight. Rather’s report claimed that Sequoia was well aware of the issues but proceeded into the election utilizing an inferior product and told election workers and technicians to “ignore the problems.

Just ignore the problem, Venezuelan style. I don’t consider Dan Rather a beacon of journalistic integrity, but in this case, it appears he was right on the mark.

Add to all of this the fact that Bill Owens may have been sworn illegally. Owens’ campaign knew that the election might be close, so it was he that contested the election in advance to prevent Hoffman from being immediately sworn in had he been declared the winner on election night. That means that the election was contested, and Owens should never have been sworn in. Didn’t realize you could do that. Electronic voting machines. We are ALL heading down this road. 2010? Look out, I see red flags.

I’ve talked about electronic voting machines before, but you won’t hear so much as a whimper of protest from the politicians that are benefiting from the rigged, or easily rigged machines. Do you think this is the first rigged election? And it won’t be the last as long as easily hacked voting machines are used. Old school paper ballots, with stakeholders from all sides observing would ensure a pretty fair count. Apparently that’s too complicated, that, or our unrepresentatives are actively making sure our vote is irrelevant. You decide.
