Colin Powell Plays the Race Card

Was Colin Powell once a conservative man? Was he once the potential presidential candidate that leaned to the right but espoused a practical approach to the nation’s governance? Well, he may have been at one time, but he sure isn’t now. The rhetoric now spewing from Powell’s mouth could very easily be coming from any of the communist sympathizers in the black caucus, a Reid, Pelosi, and even his new found hero Barack Obama. No, Colin Powell is a hardcore Democrat and he’s up to his neck in ethno-politics.

Colin Powell went on Meet the Press and sat down for an interview with David Gregory, ostensibly to talk defense and world matters, his alleged strengths. It unsurprisingly deteriorated into a bash whitey session, with Powell parroting the left’s race baiting tactics like a mindless buffoon. It’s as if it wasn’t even Powell speaking, but some twisted puppet, becoming more and more angry as he rattled off his script. It was an embarrassment, but for Powell, it is what he has become at least over the last several years.

In the interview, Powell defended the nomination of Chuck Hagel for Defense Secretary, even using similar language that Obama has been using to praise Hagel. Upon further questioning by Gregory though, Powell either evaded or disagreed with just about everything Hagel stands for, but lauding his overall record of achievment. News flash for Powell: The “overall” record is a compilation of his individual achievments. But then, the issue wasn’t Hagel’s record at all. He was Obama’s nominee, and they have to stick together. Now why would I say a thing like that?

During the interview Gregory remarked that Powell was referring to the Republicans as they, even as he still claims to be a Republican. That’s when the real Colin Powell came out. He’s been out before, but this is his view now, today. Apparently, Colin Powell feels there are too many whites in the Republican party.

The country is changing demographically. And if the Republican Party does not change along with that demographic, they’re going to be in trouble.

Where do you suggest whites go Colin? Well, he answered that in the next sentence.

And so, when we see that in one more generation, the minorities of America, African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Asian Americans will be the majority of the country, you can’t go around saying we don’t want to have a solid immigration policy. We’re going to dismiss the 47 percent. We are going to make it hard for these minorities to vote as they did in the last election. What did that produce?

There you have it. In the next generation whitey will just be overrun. Read what he said there. Ethno-pandering, amnesty, public assitance and vote fraud all need to be on the Republican agenda. He even brought up climate change later on, a proven scam. Another news flash for Powell. Those are the planks of the Democratic party. Do you still have any doubt at all which altar this guy kneels at? Oh, did you think he was done?

There’s also a dark– a dark vein of intolerance in some parts of the Party. What I do mean by that? I mean by that is they still sort of look down on minorities. How can I evidence that? When I see a former governor say that the president is shuckin’ and jivin’, that’s a racial era slave term. When I see another former governor after the president’s first debate where he didn’t do very well, says that the president was lazy. He didn’t say he was slow, he was tired, he didn’t do well, he said he was lazy. Now, it may not mean anything to most Americans but to those of us who are African-Americans, the second word is shiftless and then there’s a third word that goes along with it Birther, the whole Birther Movement.

Who looks down on minorities? Whitey of course. Never mind how leftist race baiters beat the shit out of the folks in places like Detroit, D.C. and New Orleans. But Colin Powell doesn’t want to complicate things with facts. You are correct, whitey would never be able to get away with this kind of hate speech. But then, Powell isn’t white and he wants to make damn sure you know it.

Get used to it folks, this is the new America, the new political narrative. And Powell was right about the demographics, so expect this kind of talk to get much worse. It is the norm for the left, and they will have majority numbers permanently very soon. Content of your character be damned.

  • I don’t know what is going on with this guy. I have my doubts as the whether not he is or ever was a Republican, he probably just made it appear that way to get ahead when he needed to. He obviously puts skin color above ideology if he really is a Republican, so he is the bigot if you ask me.

  • I’m just surprised he kept this side of himself hidden for so long.

  • So, Powell thinks Republicans have to adapt to the changing demographics and forgrt that stuff about the constitution and the rule of law. My guess is that is exactly what many Republicans will do.

  • No one wants to talk about racism toward whites. Thirty years from now at the rate we are going we will be the minority. They just need a little more patience. I for one am sick of it.

  • CP is full of himself. Sadly, I met the man. NOT impressed. In fact, quite disappointed.

He should take a good look at how he carries himself these days. He does no one any favors by crying foul every opportunity he gets. He should have done that when he was rising through the ranks. I doubt that he would have gotten far being a crybaby.

    • Waiting for Collin Powell to condemn obama for sending US troops to Africa to kill black people.

I was surprised that Valerie Jarret wasn’t all over him for sending drones to kill Muslins. But what are we talking about here? Divided factions. That’s the name of his game.
