The Iowa caucuses are now history, and if anyone has been looking at the polls the last few days, there were no surprises. If anybody was shocked by the performance of Rick Santorum, they needed only to look at the fact that he was surging at the right moment, and that a high percentage of caucus voters were undecided as the vote loomed.
